AMERICA'S PROBLEM

The problem in America is that there are too few wealthy people. It is not that they are greedy or un-American, there is just not enough of them to pay for promises made by the progressives. Race plays a major role in the democrat parties strategy. In the sixteen year period, from 1992 to 2008 the non-white voting population increased from 13% to 26%. For various reasons, primarily increased immigration from Asia, Africa and Latin America, they are largely among the poorest in the country. They vote overwhelmingly for Democrats. Why is that?

Demonizing the wealthy, the bankers, the industrialists and wall street as unwilling to pay for health care, housing or any of those things poor people need is a Democrat mantra. It is working. Never mind the fact, that if you took all the money from the top 1% of earners, it wouldn't pay for Washington's programs. Therefore, government resorts to massive borrowing or even printing money, ignoring the consequences, in order to retain power. When labor unions, trial lawyers and other special interest groups are added to the "something for nothing" voters, conservatives are being trampled.

The last election should have taught Republicans they can not out promise the Democrats. Unless self respect and pride in one's accomplishments can be instilled into all people, we are doomed to failure. What makes this country great, is that anyone can rise to the top, if only they come to realize it takes hard work and not government handouts.

Do you ever think that maybe minorities vote for Dems because Republ. constantly insult (both overtly and covertly) anything not associated with white americans?

The wealthy, the bankers, the industrialists and wal street were the one we as tax payers had to bail out. Whose gonna bail us out when we get layed off, loss our job, or can't find a job. Tell me who.
