No. He broke rules he knew about and read in his clubhouse everyday. He only apoloized and admitted what he did when he tought it would help his cuase. Is he repentant? No. He bet against his own team. ehich leadsto accusations of point shaving or throwing games. No. No. A thousand times no.

Unless we wait until after he is dead. He does not deserve his chance to bask in the adulation. He voluntarily gave that up.

If he gets in, then so does McGuire, Sosa, ad the rest of them.

And somebody then would need to throw some love at Joe Jackson.

He didn't bet on games he could effect the outcome. Let him in...

It is about time, Pete is one of the greatest baseball players that I saw in my lifetime. Shunned for 30 years, I think he's paid his dues and deserves to be in the Hall of Fame.

Baseball ain't what it use to be, when a player spent a lifetime with one team.

Mark Bellanger (sp?) couldn't bat his own weight but he was one the greatest shortstops I ever saw. ole stretch!

Sounds like Michael Phelps and they let him compete in the Olympics and is in competition to this day.

He knew not to drink and drive. He knows smoking pot is illegal. He says I'm sorry, does a little community service and off he goes to the Olympics. BS.

Let Rose in.

Let him in... One of the greatest hitters of all time... But I doubt that the writers will vote him in even if he is allowed on the ballot
