Air Show Canceled Today In Ocean City

Due to the storm that has rolled into the Eastern Shore, the Island of Ocean City is completely covered in fog and the Air Show had to be cancelled half way through the event.

We're not sure if they'll honor today's tickets for a Show tomorrow or not but hopefully someone reading this Post can chime in and let us know what they'll be doing, if anything.

You really need tickets for the air show? You need tickets to look up in the air? I'm gonna need to get out a little more often. Or are you just kidding Joe about the tickets. I guess you can tell I never been to one. :(

LARGEST crowd I ever have seen in OC recently. By the time I got parked at the Park and Ride lot and got back with the OC shuttle, I already missed have the show. Then they cancelled it. A bummer. A very bad day.

You dont need a ticket per se. You can see it all from the boardwalk at 16th street. There are a few "preferred seating" areas that require a ticket. I was there for a few hours and it cost nothing.

The tickets are for those who wish to view the show from the VIP section (17th St. on the Beach). Otherwise, the show is free.

I think the tickets get you into a fenced in area where there are things for kids to do, but as far as seeing the air show itself, no ticket is needed...

The tickets are only for the cabanas they set up on the beach. They come with certain amenities such as a beverage and snack service.

Anywhere else if free.

As for ticket holders getting free access to today's show, not likely if they are sold out.

The airshow is free! They have special areas with reserved seating, section with a tent and food included in the ticket price but, anywhere else is free.

You only need tickets if you go into the VIP area of vendors and displays. You can view the show from the boardwalk for free.

the tickets were for a specific area from 15 to 17 street. it is fenced off and it is where you can hear the announcers and the music clearly. there is also alcohol sold there and there only as far as the beach goes. it is also where the skydivers land right in front of you. there were other specail benifits of being in the charged area. just wanted to fill ya in. other wise you can see everything from outside that area just fine for free.

you don't need a ticket. Bring your beach chair and sit at 17th st beach, right next to the paid section.

Yes everything should be free. The air show is not run by Ocean City. It is a private venture with working people trying to make a living. As many have stated you do not need a ticket to see the show, only to get access to premium areas. Great show with a nice play of military air craft.
