Going Once, Going Twice, SOLD!

That's what Auctioneers are hoping to hear today in Delmar Maryland where they'll be auctioning off the old Delmarva Inn. It was condemned not that long ago and the Town would love nothing more than to see this structure taken down and replaced with an upscale Hotel instead. We'll see what happens.

It will be a strip mall.

Speaking as someone who lives in Delmar, this has become more than an eyesore, but a dangerous place.
Sad to see this happen, but hopefully whoever takes over will do a better job...please don't tell the old mall developers this is available! lol@Salisburycouncil

I know as being one of the people that had to constantly take out the garbage from this place that it will not be missed. I know the neighbors of this once fine establishment will be able to sleep easier at night without all the crime that this place seemed to attract. Just one question is as to where will the problem people be moved to? I think most likely the Travelers inn across the highway. That should be the next dump to go.

The problem is that it is in Maryland. That is why it is a liability. If it had been in Delaware it would be flourishing.
