Before the main event took place, many of the dancers went to Peninsula Plastic Surgery and met with Deneene to have their makeup and hair done. Stacy Sakai was kind enough to show the before and after on her hair. Can you see that, "I Hate You Joe" look on her face in the first picture? ;-)I had the pleasure of meeting most of the women I had never met before and quite frankly these were some well chosen individuals. The hard work they put into this event was unbelievable.
Between nerves and lack of sleep the night before, to be there and watch them take the stage one by one, you'd never know any one of them had been affected by either/or.

Wow! Everyone looked fabulous. They all looked like professionals except one of the professionals. Come on, this may be Delmarva, but khakis for ballroom dancing?
Joe, I'm sure you had nightmares all night with Stacy's eyes saying "I'll get even with you, Joe" Thats one pretty girl with or without makeup. Shame on you Joe!
