Caption This Photo
In today's County Council Meeting on the rural land use bill, I captured this photo as John Cannon made the final vote to shoot the bill down. More to come....
Two Sentz, you are wrong. Many who did not support this legislation, thinks there is a better way to preserve our farmland. It is not thru uncompensated down zoning. This bill was poorly crafted and tried to fix something that wasn't a problem.
Clustering is a good idea but here's the problem...when you build developments will nilly all throughout the county, it defeats the point of clustering, whether you have the houses clustered or not. Keeping development closer to existing infrastructure, i.e. the metro core(clustering by a truer definition) is smarter land use. Period. But that's not always going to be the people's first choice, is it? Many people just aren't that far sighted or just plain don't give a rat's ass.

John, Thank you for your help. I can still be your supporter.
Well, give it 5 years and we will be facing the same issue.
John, thank you for being a slimy slumlord! I appreciate you showing me your bug-infested rip off of a rental property!
Sincerely,
A decent citizen

"This is John Cannon - still upset at Joe for upsetting the apple cart- getting ready to tell Joe that he is NUMBER 1!"

Is Bill McCain the only one on that council that has a backbone?
LOL about the deleted post. Man it feels great to be right.
McCain - backbone - In the same sentence? Na! He's all about Me, Me, Me.
Here's a caption.
McCain worked on a farm as a kid and his sister owns a large farm (in another county), BFD, my family OWNS developable farm land.

Bill McCain is a self made business man who treats people great. This man has worked hard for everything he owns. He is a good man.
