Summary of Events:
On Monday April 13, 2009 members of the Wicomico County Narcotics Task Force (WINTF) executed a Search Warrant at a business located in Salisbury, Wicomico County. Upon execution of the warrant, members of WINTF located Michael A. Butler inside of the establishment. As a result of the search, Michael A. Butler was placed under arrest and the following contraband was seized:

The Wicomico County Narcotics Task Force is comprised of members from the Maryland State Police, Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office and the Salisbury Police Department and was instituted to deter the growing drug problem in Wicomico County, Maryland. During this operation, the Wicomico County Narcotics Task Force was assisted by members of the Salisbury City Police Department, the Maryland State Police Barrack E, the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Department and the Somerset County Narcotics Task Force.

Seems rather minor! SA;s office must be desperiate for some good PR. This type news is usually released by the task force.

Why on earth did the prosecutors release this information? I agree that it is a rather insignificant event. I suspect that Ruark will be trying to get some positive attention prior the next election, after all he has botched many cases in recent months.
It's likely that the task force had a warrant to search the business, too. All they found was this guy, either dealing or ready to deal (and use). If there was nothing to report about the business, why drag their name into it? The customer base for this guy is going to move on to another supplier, and maybe to some other business location. If we closed down all the innocent businesses used by drug dealers in this town, there would be no place to shop.

If the buisness has durgs being sold out of it wether the owner is involved of not....IT IS NOT AN INOCENT BUISNESS.
You people are way to fast to pass judgment on the business. Perhaps the business owner was the one to squeal on his employee and thus a great way to fire him without repercussion to him or his business.
