I received several calls on Sunday and Monday saying they had never seen such a small Sunday Daily Times Newspaper. One person even said they printed the Comics in the paper itself because there were next to no sale inserts.
If this is the case, these guys are failing fast. To those of you who are still getting a subscription to the paper, let us know what you thought of the Sunday paper.

It is all because of you Joe. The local papers can't keep up with your timely articles and truthful reporting. I wish you would buy the Daily Times and make it a real paper again. We need some export vision and reporting like only you can provide. I think this blog will be the death of the Daily Times!
Thank-you Joe, Your the best! You are the nail in the Daily Times coffin!
For me, there's no substitute to holding and reading the newspaper while drinking that first cup of coffee. I suspect this past Sunday's Times was absent sale circulars because of Easter. Somehow, Easter seems to be the one holiday (holy day) the retailers haven't been able to bastardize into a gift buying/giving fiasco.
As for this blog having any influence on whether The Times stays viable or not, unless it's on the editorial page of the paper, I prefer the things I read allow me to form my own opinion, not have someone elses jammed down my throat.
Mine was thinner than most. It was so thin, I couldn't even find it AGAIN in the paper box. It makes the 4th time in the last 6 months and we only get the Sunday paper. I can't imagine how many we wouldn't get if we got the paper every day!
Mine was great! Full of great stories. You sure they didn't have a section missing?
Easter inserts were run the week earlier. You want Easter sales ads the same day?? The comics were not printed as part of the body of the paper. And if you think putting the nail in the coffin is funny?? Try telling that to my wife and daughter who rely on my income. Jerk.
The Times is not really a newspaper, is it? Don't you have to have a proof reader to be considered a real newspaper?
Sure was thin....missing lots of the usual sales circulars & my beloved coupons (which are normally absent on holiday weekends).
