Joe, I have watched with much interest all of the articles you have put up about the DSP. It has finally hit me that you are comparing their work and results to Salisbury and quite frankly I think what you've done here is remarkable. We have more crime here than Delaware does, yet they're providing you with results. We do not see the same kind of police work here and we certainly don't get the same kind of results. Our chief of police needs to pack his bags and get the heck out of here.

The fact is that DSP recognizes that SBYnews has a large number of viewers from all over with a high number in Delaware. They began sending SBYnews press releases and pictures some time ago and readers were actually able to be instrumental in identifying suspects and provide information relating to their whereabouts. Since then DSP has regularly included SBYnews in thier list of media who are sent press releases. This is a golden opportunity being missed by SPD because egos have gotten in the way. An opportuity to locate missing persons, wanted subjects, and photo identifications are being passed over. I sincerely hope that this changes with the next administration. The citizens of Salisbury deserve better than to let something like the clash of ego's come between the public and public safety.
