Stop the negative tone
I applaud the editorial this week about the loss of a good candidate because of smears against him by bloggers. And yet, some Salisbury City Council members remain quite loyal to this blogger, as does one Salisbury mayoral hopeful. Some of us believe they must renounce the tone of these blogs and stand up for this community. Will they?

That editorial was packed with lies. That is why the DT was forced to delete all comments, and suspend any further discussion of that article.
The "blogger" told the truth- that this person had been charged with crimes in the past. If you cannot handle the disclosure of the details of your background, then you shouldn't run for office. Period.

More like he remains loyal to any anti-FOB candidate. Joe Albero is far from perfect, but he has consistently told the truth about Tilghman, Comegys and the rest of the FOB's.

Its just more of their game smear and lie, they are losing and they have to resort to blamming it on Joe. They are truely pathetic. Why are you people so scared of the truth? The days of politics as usual in Salisbury are over. If you cant stand the heat get the heck out of the kitchen. If everyone is so upset with the blogg then lets have a LIVE debate so all involved can stand before the public and voice their views and plans if they are elected.
brushmiller was a complete joke. He just used all that as a smoke screen beacause he knew he had no chance.An easy scapegoat reason to bail. I am glad he pulled out and he should keep his day job playing office!

Those of you trying to get Debbie, Jim and Tim to speak out publicly are idiots. This is just a ploy to be used against them at a later time. The anti albero bloggers tried that crap during the last council election. You all need to be more creative, our memories are very long.

And Bota is different because he associates with a deviate blogger? You have to consider the whole picture. There are 60 million blogs or more on the net and many have nothing to do with elections or news.
Joe doesn't force me to agree with him, sometimes I disagree. Because I read and make a rare comment now and again makes me an evil person?

Too bad this exceptional man is not running.
Tim will run for Gary or Louise's seat in two years. If either one resigns Tim may be appointed by the council before then.
Nor Gary or Louise will be able to accept being on the top of the hill one day and at the bottom of the haep the next day. Think positive!
