People think this guy was right? That's AMAZING! The funny thing is, Richard Chapman knew he was wrong, the Pittsville Fire Department knows he was/is wrong, and the public knows he is wrong.
Richard Chapman was an imposter, posing as a paramedic. He wasn't an EMT, CRT, or Paramedic. Granted he was at one time, but his license expired. He continued to practice and that is wrong. We all now that.
Richard's wife Paula aided him and his stupid act. Paula was an EMS Officer with the Pittsville Fire Department. I think the Pittsville Fire Department is finally admitting they were wrong. Paula Chapman was just removed from office. Part of her job was to make sure the providers were up to date, needless to say that didn't happen.
Salisbury News has done a lot of good for the citizens of eastern Wicomico.

I don't know if anybody has read the last 3 MIEMMS monthly magazines, but under protocol violations and outcomes, the penalty for practicing on expired license has been reprimand only. You don't have to take my word for it. Just look at the last issue. You see, I can back up what I say..LIAR! So why should Richard's case be any different? Any document he ever sighned was CRT-FACT! A..HOLE.
You have to love the power of Salisury News in Salisbury/Wicomico politics.
Through one person typing months ago it has finally turned into results. Richard and Paula, partners in crime have finally recieved punishment. Although it's not jail time or fines like they should have gotten but it's something. The way we have felt has finally been acknowledged by the fire department.
Now get the persons who really let this happen TONY WEBSTER and MARK BRATTEN.

What Salisbury News has done has been a lot more of a punishment than anything the fire department or MIEMSS could do.
It's a beautiful thing that we have a way seeking justice without the courts.
The only reason these people have been removed from office is because of Joe and his sources. I say kudos to anyone who had the courage to expose the corruption.

Albero, this is not allegedly, I just checked their website, Paula Chapman was listed at an EMS Lieutenant, needless to say she was deleted.
Speaking of the members section of the department, Cathy Hall as VP is a GREAT thing. Seriously, she's sincerely a great person. She will make sure things are done right from now on.
First of all, "Pittsville" comment was from a female not a male. Second, it didn't bother you one bit that many hurtful and meaningless lies on good and innocent people were posted on your blog, and how many slanderous comments were made that were not true and were very hurtful to people I am close with by the coward that hides behind your blog. Also, you say suicide not on your watch, how about accusing 2 well intentioned providers with "murder"....that's okay..right Mr.Man? It shows what you're made of. I just wanted to show that termite what it feels like to have a spotlight thrown on him. The only difference was, it was the truth, and he didn't care where he went or who he hurt just to get his jollies. So, I didn't feel like he deserved any courtesy.

Would my mother have died before she got to the hospital if Richard Chapman had been certified and would have been able to provide additional help to her? I plan on calling my attorney tomorrow and seek some answers to our family's now exposed concern. I think some financial compensation would make grandma feel better in heaven knowing that a few dollars were provided for her grandchildren's college. What do you think Joe? Life and death issues are serious business and it is the ambulance's crew responsibility to save lives with certified people.This new concern is inexcusable.
I smell money from the fire department and the insurance company. Probably a personal lawsuit against the Chapman pair.

Just to clarify the post - Paula decided to step down. Her decision to step down had nothing at all to do with the situation with richard and everything to do with making time for other things in her life and other aspects of the fire service. She is qualified in mor than 1 area of the fire service ie. Fire Police. So allegedly is correct but not removed. she stepped down. and has been reassured by Tony that her office is there when she wants it back. People that have commented on here about things they have no understanding of should realize the local fire depts are volunteer and to volunteer in today's world takes committment dedication and a lot of time from families, friends and jobs on occasion. So just remember, before you throw stones , look at where you are standing. Right in the middle of that nice glass house you built for yourself to protect yourself from the Real World.

As for Ryan , Hey you can forget becoming a member of the Department you are trying to get into. People that know your real past have already informed the proper officers of that Department and rest assured You WILL NOT get in due to numerous hospital stays and the attempted theft of narcotics from Pittsville. Charges are still pending, contrary to any other reports to the contrary.
Now you can see why volunteerism is on the decline in this country.Every organization has problems and issues. Maybe the ones that like to cast their opinions would step up to the plate. I thank all the Men & Women that give their time and efforts for the Fire & EMS service through the volunteer fire companies. Thank you!!!
That is correct, I too have spoken to them and he will not get into their dept. They are well aware of all of his "unmentionables" if i put them on here, Joe wouldn't post it. We all know what he has done.

The members of PVFD will try over and over and over again to take the attention from their department and place it on someone else. Isn't it called a scapegoat (spelling?). This the exact thing they are doing now! Don't be fooled by the trickery. They know they are in the wrong. That's really all that matters.
And yes they are wife beaters, as their names have already been exposed. Oh and Rick Mills has a domestic abuse charge, you forgot that one.
And several DUI and DWIs in the department, so the statement "drunk" and "wifebeaters" is very actually true.

If that actually is you it's severly disappointing. I've never ever talked anything bad about you, actually defending you on numerous occasions.
I for one actually think you are a great person, that is dead serious. I think you and Erin are good people.
From our days running around in EMS-7 and being one of your lietenants to being the only people on an EMS call, I really thought you were a good person.
I still do, its all good. I think a lot of great people still exist in Pittsville VFD. That's a fact. Bobby, Shiloh, Cathy, Gene, Peggy, Nancy, Ricky, Jennie, Bill, and some others. Pittsville VFD does great things and a lot of good for the community just this should have never happened.
Some of you'll screwed me over time and time again, it's all good though.
Anyway, this could go on forever, I've said my piece on here.
