I have been told by one of the homeowner's neighbors that the home they broke into was the home of an 80 year old woman. She happened to not be home at the time.
Probably a good thing for her.

Anon can you please explain to me the difference between PG county thug, DC/VA thug trash, and the equivalent of the same type people living right here on the good ole eastern shore?? Last time I checked it doesn't matter where a person comes from it just matters whether they make the right or wrong choices in life.
Glad the elderly woman was not home, possessions can be replaced a life cannot.

I have a question and only a question, if your read your Miranda rights by a cop out of his jurisdiction, or even his state is that a lawyer loop hole? Just a question nobody read into it.

I just asked a question buddy, Im not picking a side at all. Its sounds to me like these kids are lucky they got caught before something turned tragic. Maybe they have time to redeem themselves and become a productive part of society. I sleep alot better at night the ALL the boys in blue are out there risking their lives so my family and I can sleep well. Dont ever think I am foolish enough to not know that. Just a question.

Less, you have to understand, there has been a TON of anonymous comments making similar suggestions on these three posts about the robbery. I allowed yours because it had a name to it but those other people continue day in and day out to attempt to get stupid comments through.

Many come in asking what was stollen from the home, like, who gives a crap and why is that important. There's been a ton of stupid ones I simply rejected. Sorry you fell into that loop but they know who they are and they're now seeing my answer to their rejected comments.

Joe,

You do realize that "Less Nessman" is a anonymous name too, right?

It was a fictional character played by Richard Sanders on "WKRP In Cincinnati" television show.

.......in other words.....a troll.

And lets not get too comfy because one theif has been caught. We have all been so terrorized by all the crime that we jump up and down because the cops did their job.

It is their job , right. When I can safely stroll down any street in our community with out the fear of being held up then I will be patten the cops until then they havent really done anything .

Keep up the proper job officers, this is why you are being paid for in the first place. Not to just collect revenue from those who pay your saleries in the first place.Get those that feed on the weak off the streets. Start protecting us from the evil eliment that has become larger and hungrier as a result of the local cops being more concerned with revenue than actual public safety. After all you got the guns , use them. This will make Ruarks job a lot easier for himself. No more slap on the wrist only to have them return to the streets to commit the same crimes all over again.

I guess there will be medals given out to the guys who finally did their jobs huh ? whoooWheeee.

Another great comment from someone who knows nothing about police work. Does it hurt to point out a good job, or are you someone who complains when they get stopped that the cops should be catching the real criminals. Please announce your job and lets pick that apart. Lets face it there are alot more criminals on the streets than cops. Appreciate them it is a thankless job.

Joe, thanks for posting this so rapidly! My elderly aunt lives alone, and this type of felony causes me to wonder why these miscreants chose this particular house. Was it dumb luck or had she let someone into her home she shouldn't have who saw something valuable in her house or had she left a bank with a large sum of cash or what? Any updates that will give us ideas about how to protect our elderly relatives and neighbors would be appreciated.

From what I hear they were just on a crime spree that included many counties and two states. Not students by any means. Also, heard a couple may have been gang members.
