Wow, you can't beat this. This was posted on Salisbury News before SPD even showed up.

Great job Joe.

I just called my friend who works there. A black male came up to one of the drivers who was walking out his car bloody, naked and beaten up. He asked for a ride home. The driver insisted he call the police and he helped the man into the bathroom. The PD has since shown up. I dunno what happened after that.

9:00 PM

That's because they were SKEERTTT! They were waiting for the paramedics to get on the scene first to make it safe for them.

Be careful who you give rides to or lend a helping hand. The police are now checking area hospitals with the thoughts of finding the suspect from the attempted murder in Delmar. They believe the victim may have done some damage to the assailant and he may seek medical help.

Gotta love that mare and po lice chief. There ain't no crime in their Salisbury. Like Shamie says Crime is under control.

Help is on the way.

I wonder if the guy 14 minutes later at subrunners was named Handy.

These places are going to have to start operating behind glass walls like bodegas and stores in Philly or NY-dangerous out there and that stretch of 13 is downright seedy.

how come whenever there is a single crime in sby people start blaming the mayor and chief? If this happened in the county why arn't the sheriff and county exec. blamed? just a thought.

1:01, the mare chief are "blamed" because they have publicly stated that crime is down in the city.

These incidents used to be swept under the rug, and not reported by the media to support their position.

Now that we have SBYNEWS to report otherwise, we can blame them since they have defacto accepted responsibility for the crime rates in the city.

Annon 1:01 Because the Sheriff realizes there is crime in this area, i.e. gangs, prostitutes,
etc. The Sheriff's Department does not live in an artificial world. This is not Hollywood, these are real life crimes and should be recognized as such.

Also, they (mare and police chief) that there are no gangs in the Salisbury area. Sounds like a gang of three running around now.

sbynews alerted us about these situations, and since we live near Stage rd. in Delmar, this is the only way we knew to take extra security measures. I guess we need to make those extra measures standard operating procedure.
We're also considering getting a gun. I hate to think it's come to this, but when you live in a rural situation, you have to fend for yourself, at least for the 20 minutes it would take for help to arrive.
Thanks for being there, sbynews. You've both increased our awareness and scared the sh*t out of us. You're, as always, a double edge sword.

Well Acutally crime went down from 06 to 07. And actually is down from 07 to 08. So your actually being fed lies. And how is saying crime is down also saying there is no crime?
