Well I have to disagree with Anonymous 9:44am...if someone wants to be claimed as the biggest thief, it should be the landfill employees who were involved with this scam. They are the ones who received all the money, they are the ones who should have had to pay the $450K back to the county...granted Mr. Lewis among other who should have been arrested and have not been YET...need to be punished but the money was given to those employees, they should be responsible for repayment to our county.

Id take that deal anytime. Pay back 150 grand and keep the other 250 thousand plus. Then only have to do 6 months, work release granted no doubt. Hell, he's laughing all the way to the bank!
He seems to have a horseshoe up his you know what. They probably let him pick what day he wanted to start his sentence so they would know how much time they had to fix his cell up for him. I am betting jail time will be to easy for him. I am hoping it won't.

Oh my, steal over a half a million, get a slap on the hand with $150,000 fine and 6 months in jail. Boo Hoo!! Poor little county workers and Ray Lewis. Seems they all came out ahead in this little fiasco. If that had been everyday Joe they would not see daylight forever. What does Wicomico consider a serious Felony Crime now????? How are the taxpayers getting all that money back?
