How many American jobs???

America is based on capitalism, which is what makes america different. This price is no different than what you would see people selling them on ebay for - which is around $450. A question to ask yourself, if you had one, wouldn't you do the same thing? If you say no, do you really mean that? Look at the current economy and then ask yourself the question again.

As Anonymous 11:19 AM said, the Wii (and all that is included in this offer )retails for $250. Trust me when I say that I know a lot about the video game industry. I've followed it my entire life. This is not a good deal.

You know I hate it when people buy things to make a profit just because it is in the store. I bought a Wii fit for my wife for christmas that she wanted. Which supposedly are hard to come by. List price $89.00 and they are going for between $145.00 and $160 on Ebay. I found a bunch more. All that I had to do was buy them all and put them on ebay to make a few dollars. But that is selfish. Let the ones who really want these items get them without being raked over the coals. Last year I had to resort to buying the Wii on Ebay for more than I should have. Ever called for concert tickets the exact minute they went on sale just to be told that all you could get were nose bleeds. Thanks to an inside job going on to get tickets first and hussel them. I say let them eat this Wii or sell it to someone for what they paid for it. Now thats more like the Christmas spirit.

$249 is the base console only

I bought the entire package that this person is selling online last month for $249.00. Not "Just the Console only".
I have noticed that the prices are going up as we get closer to Christmas and the supply gets shorter, though.

Free enterprise... the only way to go! Aren't Wii's still a rare item that you have to catch the morning after they are shipped to the store? Or do enough people have them by now they stay on the shelves a little longer?

As i have stated many times before, good ole american greed, only the rich will survive.
Hope your rich or you will have nothing.

For what he described, it what comes with the Wii for $249 retail. If you're looking to buy one, tomorrow December 14th, they will be available at the following stores:

Target
Best Buy, will also have Wii fit

So be there at least an hour before the doors open, and you'll get a Wii for $249.00 plus tax, and it will have all that is listed in this ad. But then again if you want it now, call Mike.

Good Lord, Thier doing it to themselves and dont even realize it, denial concentrated style. Its like Twilight-Zone or something. The world switched to global trade and we paid for alot of it. Damn Clinton was slick.

i before e, except after c, just looks funny.

Joe, what is this? Why doesn't someone just give Mike $75 and buy a Wii at walmart for $250? They are not sold out.

I really need a Princess Unicorn, has anyone seen a store with these in stock?

I was in Game Stop (North 13) yesterday and they had some $249.

Picture this...two people sitting on their sofa on a Sunday morning, him reading a book and her with the laptop checking the blog for the morning update. There is a comment saying that the local Best Buy will have Wii Fit on Sunday...she looks at the clock..7:48...
By 8:30 he's back, sitting with his book, and our daughter's Christmas present, a Wii Fit!!!!! is sitting on the table, waiting to be wrapped and shipped to her!
Thanks to SBYNEWS! You're the BEST! There was nearly no chance that, otherwise, we would have been lucky enough to find one at retail in time for this Christmas.

I can't help but laugh at some of the post regarding the Wii for sale. What you have here is a guy trying to make a little money on the console. So my question to everybody is WHAT IS WRONG WITH THAT!
I don't quite understand why so many people are up in arms against this? Retailers have been screwing us over for years and for much more then this! It's really simple, if you don't want to buy what he is selling then don't! If anybody has taken a college economic class, there is this thing call the supply and demand equation. You all should look it up sometime instead of bitching about it being unfair.
Retailers use it all the time, it's not rocket science people. Now, to the person who ask about how many american jobs, you can thank Nintendo for that. And to the poster who said that they should eat it at cost, you really don't get it! I see you could not own a business.

You claim you were forced to buy your Wii from ebay at more then what you should have. There is a fix for that, you should of bought one when they were in stores and gotten off your butt instead of waiting to the last minute.

the problem with this post is that it isn't news or an opinion or anything. if this came a week before christmas and all the wii's were sold out then it would be important. But as it is there are literally millions of these things floating around for $75 less. It's just dumb to post it.
