Walk Through Bethlehem @ Lynnhaven Baptist Church

Once again the folks at Lynnhaven Baptist Church in Pocomoke City, are putting on what is becoming their annual “A Walk Through Bethlehem.

Our family attended this great event last year and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Hundreds of Volunteers have contributed many hours of their time and talents to construct the ancient Bethelhem, and what an outstanding realistic job they do.

Show time and details are as follows, and I encourage everyone to come out, young and old to see for yourselves the ‘Reason for the Season’.

The sights and sounds of Bethlehem on that very first Christmas Eve return to Lynnhaven Baptist Church again this year. Each evening, weary travelers will be escorted through the little town to take part in the census and search for a place to stay. Roman soldiers guard the gates and roam the streets as villagers go about their daily lives. Live animals, over 75 costumed actors and tree lined streets bring the village to life.

Guests enjoy local musical talent as they wait their turn to Walk Through Bethlehem and are treated to home baked delights afterwards. Free, Free, Free!
