Last Friday, Chief See, (Barney Fife) was cruising up and down the Boulevard looking stern just trying to nab that criminal parking in the Fire Lanes. The one bullet wonder didn't get a chance to shoot off his load ed gun and went home once again completely frustrated.
We have yet to see the Fire Department out looking for violators since this day and probably won't again until Black Friday next year. What would we do without this guy! He's so impotent to Salisbury.

Hey Joe, What does he do when he finds a violator? He isnt the Police. He could call a SPD officer, however they may or may not have a cop available. After all, they have had the same amount of cops for over ten years. I think the population has INCREASED in the last years. OH, thats right, thats how we save a buck in government. The poloticians cut public safety funding & payroll, "so we don't have to increase taxes" threat. Then the citizens who like the "NO" tax increase, are "led" to blame the guy or Chief in charge. It has been that way forever. How about this; change the laws. If a citizen catches you parked in the fire lane, he is allowed to punch you in the face ONE time. Imagine that at Wal-Mart on Black Friday. OUCH!!!!

Joe I parked in the fire lane next to Besr Buy at 09:30hrs on sat.morning. The wife went in to buy gifts. Then I remembered your post about C/G patroling the stories on Black Friday.So i said I will wait for a bit and see what developes.After about 30 minutes I moved to a parking space and remained about 20 more minutes when the wife showed up.Those asssholes never appeared anywhere in that area AND THERE WERE PLENTY OF VIOLATIONS.

Saturday evening we went to Wal-Mart up north. The fire department people were ringing the bell for the Salvation Army, which is great that we have someone to ring the bells...BUT parked under the NO PARKING SIGN FIRE LANE sat their vehicle? I guess this sign does not pertain to them?
It looks like that troll is talking on his city cell phone while driving. I thought the city or the fire department about talking on the cell phone while driving? This city needs some major changes. Hopeful help is on the way/

Salisbury FD kinda had an allie on Black Friday...Fire Lt. from 16 is employed by SPD & was writing warnings/tickets for fire lane bad shoppers. I think FD officers were the scouts & contacted their boy from the SPD to do the dirty work. And to think how he hated working for them when he was a paid employee (firefighter is too strong of a occupation description for him) at SFD.

How would you have felt if an ambulance needed to get up to Best Buy for someone having a stroke or heart attack and couldn't get up there because YOU were parked in the fire lane?
DO NOT PARK IN THE FIRE LANES.....it is COMMON SENSE whether there is a law enforced against it or not.
Some people are just plain STUPID!
Does anyone know what happened in Willards on Saturday night? I heard that a good person died because of negligence on behalf of the so called "paramedic" employed by the Willards Fire Department. I also heard there was a major delay in response of the fire department which contributed to the tragedy and the next due EMS had to be dispatched. People are talking, but no one is giving good details.
It is a disgrace to insult Barney Fife in such a manner

This is not bashing. Joe is doing a good job keeping the idiots on their toes. I bet he will put in for overtime since Black Friday was a holiday for the city of Salisbury Employees.

Hopefully when we get a new Mayor in Salibury Barney Fife, Gordo and Fatso will be history. I am a volunteer at one of the stations and we are all praying for Barrie Tilgman to get ousted and take those Three Stooges with her. We have already decided to endorse anyone but BUBBA!

Oh she does exist. Been there and saw him and I am from Ocean City. We hung out together. I didn't think Gordy was married the way he got all dressed up for the night on the town with her. Why do you think he had his own hotel room? ;-)
