Salisbury Police Department Press Release

On November 12, 2008 at approximately 12:11 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police Department received a call to respond to the K-Mart Department Store in reference to an internal theft. Upon arrival the officers were advised by security personnel that an employee of the business, listed below, had been taking U.S. currency from the cash register while working. Security personnel had monitored the employee and had apprehended her.

ARRESTED: Caronjetta (nmn) Haywood, 44 years of age Fruitland, Maryland

CHARGES:
Theft (under $ 500) (2 counts)
Theft scheme (under $ 500)

DISPOSITION: Released to Central Booking

Somehow I never cease to marvel at the stupidity of some people. Didn't she know that she would be caught by surveillance cameras and/or by other employees or her superiors? One can only shake one's head sometimes.
