Trooper 2 has crashed, so far 4 out of 5 people on board are dead. Two State Troopers, one Paramedic and one patient have expired. Please pray for these families. More to come........

Pilot Steve Bunker and TFC. Mickey Lippy, both normally assigned to Trooper 2, were killed in the crash.
Mr. Bunker joined MSP in 1972 and retired as a corporal. He returned as a civilian pilot. He was from Waldorf.
TFC. Lippy was a former Anne Arundel County Fire Department paramedic who came to the state police several years ago to join the Aviation Division. He is the father of a seven month old.
Also killed were EMT Tonya Mallard from the Waldorf Volunteer Fire Department and patient Ashley Youngler.
God bless these souls, their families and all of us who have proudly served beside them. They will never be forgotten.
