There was a report (I dont have the time to research to cite it) that stated that the last time where actually in a recession (Clinton) there were only about 3,000 articles written about it in the MSM.
Now during the Bush years while we are close, but not actually in a recession there have been as many as 100,000 (this may be a little high) articles written about the "current recession" in the MSM.

Can you feel the bias floating around in the air?

It amazes me that, every time a subject comes up someone has to make a point to turn it into us against them politically. Could it possibly be that the recession we're in now is much worse than the last time? It is. Maybe thats why there is more press about it.

There is no doubt about it.
This is why I believe there is no difference between either candidate.
McCain hasn't always been so conservative. It's all about power and they just don't care.
They will say anything to get your vote, just look at all the promises the Dems told to get into office during the mid-term elections and they have now turned out to be lies.
At the end of every term the lame duck is bashed, his party is bashed and we usually switch parties.
Insterestingly enoug, Obama has conceded that Hillary can be written in at the Convention and she might just get the nomination.
