Want A Ticket To The Bash In Crisfield Next Week?

If you plan to go to the Tawes seafood affair next Wednesday (July 16) and need
a ticket, please buy one or more from the City of Salisbury. It seems that the
Mayor spent about $2000 for the City’s “tent” there, wuhich includes a block of
tickets that she’s trying to sell to recoup some of the taxpayers' money that
otherwise will be wasted so that she or various FOB's can cavort at Somers Cove
Marina. The number to call is 410-334-3031.

I'll take 4 and you can deduct that from my water & sewer bill

Who authorized this expenditure? I don't remember hearing anything about it at any of the meetings. Did this money come from one of the many POTS in the non budget budget? Let Barrie and her ass kissers pay their own way they have all had a free ride long enough.

Barrie (I know you're there):

Don't wear shorts - Joe won't be there!

for gawd sakes also please wear a bra

She won't wear shorts, she'll wear a thin skirt and go braless, like last year. If she wasn't braless, then the only thing left to think is she has managed to lose the support of her bras. Now thats pretty bad when your bra leaves you hanging.

when she gets older she will have to move a boob to scratch a knee

You know you are old when you are walking and your nipples drag on the sidewalk.

Is Salisbury the only city that has a 'tent' or the only government group for that matter?

You know, that's a really good question. I have been there the past few years and quite frankly, Salisbury is the only town I know of that I can recall that has their own Booth. VERY INTERESTING!

Joe:

Sorry, but I disagree. It makes no difference if any other city, etc., has a tent -- it's absurd for Salisbury to pay $2,000 of tax money to have one when we don't have enough funds to fix the streets, hire more police and fire personnel, etc.

you couldnt give me tickets, unless I can throw rotten eggs at the clown in the Salisbury booth!!!

Bubba would disagree with you. He said during budget sessions to leave that in there, its a good way to market the city. Just who the hell is he marketing it to, a bunch of politicians? The same politicians that already know Barrie is a liar and becoming more radioactive as the days go by?

Certainly won't be marketing the city to any outside businesses looking for a place to locate. Who the hell can afford to do business in the city with their high tax and even higher water and sewer rates.

Lore Chambers thinks she can sell the city. Nobody buys shit even if it is wrapped in silk, it still shit and it still stinks.

Salisbury had a tent there a couple of years ago. It was mostly empty, except for the Chief.

I wonder if my comment the other day about Barrie giving tickets to FOB's had anything to do with the city trying to sell the tickets? They gave them away in the past.

I know that there are other 'public' groups that have tents like SU and WOr Wic... Along with Worcester and Somerset County...
