Today's Wildlife Photo?
I took this picture at the Chicken Festival last Friday. For what it's worth, I've never seen an animal hatch from an egg and this was really cool.

Joe, that is wonderful. i had a incubator for a few years a while back, and i'd wake up in the middle of the night hearing chirping, and the chicks had not yet broken through the shell!! My daughter thought it was the coolest thing in the world to watch..... You'd have a blast if you bought some chickens and an incubator! You grandson would love it as well. Countrygirl (Mandy)
My grandson and I watched these little "peepies" for several minutes. He really got a kick out of watching them hatch. He was also more than a bit tentative when trying to hold one of them. I told him "no, you can't have a couple of them next Easter." After all they do grow up. He laughed.
