MICHELE OBAMA.....First Lady?

In her senior thesis at Princeton, Michele Obama, the wife of Barack Obama stated that America was a nation founded on crime and hatred. Moreover, she stated that whites in America were ineradicably racist. The 1985 thesis, titled "Princeton-Educated Blacks and the Black Community" was written under her maiden name, Michelle LaVaughn Robinson.

Michelle Obama stated in her thesis that to "Whites at Princeton , it often seems as if, to them, she will always be Black first..." However, it was reported by a fellow black classmate, If those "Whites at Princeton " really saw Michelle as one who always would "be Black first," it seems that she gave them that impression.
Most alarming is Michele Obamas use of the terms separationist and integrationist when describing the views of black people.

Mrs. Obama clearly identifies herself with a separationist view of race.
By actually working with the Black lower class or within their communities as a result of their ideologies, a separationist may better understand the desperation of their situation and feel more hopeless about a resolution as opposed to an integrationist who is ignorant to their plight.

Obama writes that the path she chose by attending Princeton would likely lead to her "further integration and/or assimilation into a white cultural and social structure that will only allow me to remain on the periphery of society; never becoming a full participant."

Michele Obama clearly has a chip on her shoulder.

Not only does she see separate black and white societies in America , but she elevates black over white in her world.

Here is another passage that is uncomfortable and ominous in meaning:
There was no doubt in my mind that as a member of the black community, I am obligated to this community and will utilize all of my present and future resources to benefit the black community first and foremost.

What is Michelle Obama planning to do with her future resources if she's first lady that will elevate black over white in America?

The following passage appears to be a call to arms for affirmative action policies that could be the hallmark of an Obama administration.

Predominately white universities like Princeton are socially and academically designed to cater to the needs of the white students comprising the bulk of their enrollments.

The conclusion of her thesis is alarming.
Michelle Obamas poll of black alumni concludes that other black students at Princeton do not share her obsession with blackness. But rather than celebrate, she is horrified that black alumni identify with our common American culture more than they value the color of their skin. I hoped that these findings would help me conclude that despite the high degree of identification with whites as a result of the educational and occupational path that black Princeton alumni follow, the alumni would still maintain a certain level of identification with the black community. However, these findings do not support this possibility.

Is it no wonder that most black alumni ignored her racist questionnaire? Only 89 students responded out of 400 who were asked for input.

Michelle Obama does not look into a crowd of Obama supporters and see Americans. She sees black people and white people eternally conflicted with one another.
The thesis provides a trove of Mrs. Obama's thoughts and world view seen through a race-based prism.

This is a very divisive view for a potential first lady that would do untold damage to race relations in this country in a Barack Obama administration.

Michelle Obamas intellectually refined racism should give all Americans pause for deep concern.

Now maybe she's changed, but she sure sounds like someone with an axe to grind with America . Will the press let Michelle get a free pass over her obviously racist comment about American whites? I am sure that it will. But it shouldn't.

FYI: I am not a supporter of any of the candidates for president. In fact, they all leave a bad taste in my mouth. However, I am definitely sick of the main stream media (MSM) feeding us all this crap about Obama being an agent of change.
Has anyone stopped to think what kind of change; really?

PS:We paid for her scholarship.

And , of course, she doesn't look at white people an first think "white".

Gimmee a break! I don't know who's MORE racist Michelle Obama or Oprah.

This would be the WORST mistake ever in our nation to have OBAMA and First Lady Michelle in the White House. Talk about prejudice - she is so down on the White People, its not funny. Actually kind of Scary!
A Change - yes, a change for the worse! Just what we need. Why cant the people who are supporting him/her open their eyes and hearts and see what direction he is planning to take the US. DOWN THE DRAIN!

Despite their difference in appearance and education, Ms. O spouts the same racist rhetoric as Shanie Shields, albeit it much more articulately and, thus, more noticeably.

Even if everyone of you reading this on the whole Eastern Shore votes for John McCan't, Obama will still win MD thanks to the DC and Bmore areas..LOL So go on and hate and spread your propaganda...Instead of negativity why dont you try to prop up your canidate's position? Is it because it is more of the same BS we have had for the last 8 years? The GOP had their chance...didnt do much with it. At least Bush is getting rich off war profiteering and his oil investments.
As far as Michelle Obama, how about we hold you to everything you beleived while you were in college? I'm sure you havent changed one bit in your thinking and values since then.

I find it laughable that the Obama campaign is bracing for attack ads that may have racial overtones. They are the ones that seem to see race in everything. Just typical liberal mind set. A conservative considers a candidates ideas and capabilities not his race or ethnicity. I'll vote for a black for president (or any other office) when they are conservative in their philosophy. Obama is an empty suit. A great orator, but no substance. If he ever gets in a debate where he has to think on his feet, his ineptness will shine through. Unfortunately, he will be insulated from that kind of scrutiny until after the election. And yes, his wife is a very angry lady.

"A conservative considers a candidates ideas and capabilities not his race or ethnicity." Maybe a well informed conservative does, but the vast majority of people who vote Republican and Democrat actually know almost nothing about what their candidate stands for. Let me ask you this, McCain supporters: did McCain vote for the new G.I bill when it came up last month? That should be an easy one, right? After all, he is a big supporter of the military. If you didn't know the answer to that (obviously, he did not vote for it or I wouldn't be mentioning it), then what are you basing your support for him on? And I agree with the previous post--pretty much every college kid sees the world as being against them, it is just a develomental stage when they question everything. Pulling out Michelle Obama's thesis smacks of desperation. McCain has said a lot worse in his adult life.

You know the real issues is that the truth hurts. We are a much better society then we were 40 years ago about race issues but there are still many of those who continue to see blacks as being lower than the whites. I have tried so hard to raise my children to not be that way. I as a white women in speaking with many who are against Obama still use the black issue. These are white people. I had a white guy walk into my office the other day and said I don't like any of them, but I definetly do not want a coon for president. When I told him I supported Obama, boy was he embarressed. There are many, many white people supporting Obama. When will people start using compasion and stop being so ugly. Blacks, Hispanics, Irish, German, White, etc... we all have hearts, we all cry, we are all sad and God loves us all. I agree that there are many people who are taking advantage of the system, who live like trash, who commit crime, but they are of all colors. We tend to only throw the blacks, and hispanics in to a whole group. When a white person sees white trash they never include all whites. There may be those who pay their taxes, and try to live a good life, but if you still have the mentality that you think you are better than others you are no better than the other trash out there. I just can't imagine how God must feel when he looks down upon those who are so ugly. And Joe, if you don't like any of the candidates, why don't we see the same ugly post on McCain?

It is scary to think that a racist candidate like Obama and his racist wife could be in the White House. If a white candidate had these same views he would not have a snowballs chance in hell of getting elected. Wake up people. Obama has been trained by his pastor of over twenty years to be a racist and when you are brainwashed from a child on up it sticks with you. Not to mention that with Gore backing Obama and the environmentalist view on off
shore drilling and oil issues. We will be paying $7.00 a gallon for gas before he is in office for six months. Not to mention countless other tax increases. Also the racist bitch wife didn't mind taking white peoples money to get her college education. And to Melissa Malone I am not a racist I grew up with black people went to school with them, some of my best friends are black and my sister-in-law is black. But give me a black candidate that will lower my taxes, and try to make our country less dependent on the middle east for oil by drilling our own oil and building our own refineries. And I will gladly vote for him. But Obama
and Michelle no way would I vote for them for president not in a million years.

Anonymous said...

I guess melissa malone does not consider people of German and Irish ancestry to be white? I think she may have some racial confusion issues.

Anonymous said...

Anon 9:57, just because oil is drilled off shore or in Alaska, that doesnt mean it has to be used in America or sold to Americans. The oil companies can sell it to whomever they choose, that is, who ever pay the most (ie China). Unfortunately this wont lower gas prices. The only(best) way to reduce dependency on oil(foreign or domestic) is to find alternative energy(ie green or renewable). The writing is on the wall. It is time to advance the whole human race...for the good of everyone. Let our country lead the way.

Anonymous said...

9:57 - Do you realize that we can start drilling today for oil and it will take 10 years to get the oil we need for this country? What do you think will happen to the gas prices until then? The answer lower the supply to make the prices go down. Alternative fuels will do just that. It is called competition. The same with the electric, cable, etc.... Stop using it. Cut your cable off. Use florecent bulbs, install a geo thermal unit, maybe solar panels. We have lived to good for to long. We need to change our way of life. Our children think the norm is to have cable. They think if they don't have it they are poor. They think we are poor if we can't give them all cell phones, $300 prom dresses etc... We need to force the electric company, cable company etc.... to stop what they are doing to us. Cut back using gas. When I was a kid, we drove from Seaford to Salisbury twice a year to shop at the mall for school clothes. Our kids today think that it is nothing to drive to Seaford everyday. It is time for a change in our country. Stay home with your families. Build the family unit. Work together. Could you imagine sharing your home with your parents and grandparents. Our parents did it. We have become a greedy selfish nation. I was one of them too. Plant a garden. Hang your clothes out to dry. And having black friends and growing up with black people doesn't make you not judge the blacks as a group. Obama is working for all of us to get back to where we need to be. No more big government.

10:07 Just like the rest, taken out of content. When my mother was raised in NY at the age of six, my grandfather moved the whole family to Delaware because Jewish people moved in next door. He being a Irish man, I can't understand. We need to look at each other as individuals not by race, religion or heritage.

Who said anything about being a McCain supporter? He is just about the flip side of the same coin.

Obama not for big government? Wow! Where have you been. That is exactly what he espouses/ Wake up for goodness sake.

i truly believe that that the capitilistic corporate power devils want all us americans caught up in all this stupid shit. they want us bickering with one another over race, and non-sense. as long as were doing this they get to keep on screwing us all,"white and black". all i know is if were going to save this great nation from certain failure, we are all going to have to get on the same page. we are all americans and we are above this pety shit. hears an idea, why dont we start channeling our energies where they belong, fighting the super wealthy, so the american dream can be saved for all, not just for the privaledged. people were running out of time.

First and foremost just who do you think you are anonymous 9:57am.You need to first educate yourself with Obama's plans first before you start judging him. Second of all calling his wife a bitch is down right ignorant for someone who claims to have black friends and relatives. You sound stupid and uneducated maybe you're the "Bitch" and not Michelle! Also just to let you know having a few black friends does not mean that your not a racist bastard!!!! Also your dumb ass comment about her not complaining about using white people's money to get a college education was crazy do you think that white people are the only tax payers in the United States of America. Last I checked it was a mixed and I mean mixed Country dumbass!!!

Argue all you wish to folks, about Obama's wife or about McCain, but do us all a favor and vote your concience come November. But, by all means do get out and vote! In my case, I've already said I'm for McCain and that's who I'll vote for. Sure he's done some things wrong, but he did them believing he was right. Do you actually think Obama has done it all right, everything he's touch on in and out of office??

Dont worry about offshore drilling, I think I know where more oil is going to come from:
(yes this is cut and paste from http://healingiraq.blogspot.com/)

BAGHDAD — Four Western oil companies are in the final stages of negotiations this month on contracts that will return them to Iraq, 36 years after losing their oil concession to nationalization as Saddam Hussein rose to power.

Exxon Mobil, Shell, Total and BP — the original partners in the Iraq Petroleum Company — along with Chevron and a number of smaller oil companies, are in talks with Iraq’s Oil Ministry for no-bid contracts to service Iraq’s largest fields, according to ministry officials, oil company officials and an American diplomat.

The deals, expected to be announced on June 30, will lay the foundation for the first commercial work for the major companies in Iraq since the American invasion, and open a new and potentially lucrative country for their operations.

The no-bid contracts are unusual for the industry, and the offers prevailed over others by more than 40 companies, including companies in Russia, China and India. The contracts, which would run for one to two years and are relatively small by industry standards, would nonetheless give the companies an advantage in bidding on future contracts in a country that many experts consider to be the best hope for a large-scale increase in oil production.

There was suspicion among many in the Arab world and among parts of the American public that the United States had gone to war in Iraq precisely to secure the oil wealth these contracts seek to extract. The Bush administration has said that the war was necessary to combat terrorism. It is not clear what role the United States played in awarding the contracts; there are still American advisers to Iraq’s Oil Ministry.

McCain didnt support the bill because it did very little for GI's, it gave them a ton of restrictions, and it was filled with a ton of pork projects that had nothing to do with the bill. Do your research.

Anonymous said...

I don't like either candidate and it has nothing to do with race. If Colin Powell were running I'd vote for him in a heartbeat. Ron Paul for President.

Sorry to say but sooner or later, it comes out in all of them.

Stop, people. Just stop. Show of hands: how many people who are commenting are black? How many of you have ever suffered any form of racism? Any of you? No?

And to the person who claimed that not only is Michelle Obama a racist, but tried to paint Shanie Shields in the same light, I'd just like to say this: I know Shanie. I am a friend of hers, and I don't think any of you could ever meet anyone who is less racist than she. Take issue with her record on the council if you want, but at least think before you accuse her of racism.

And for the record-- I am a democrat who lives in Salisbury. I agree with MOST of what I read here at sbynews, because I believe that we can all come together when things are wrong. (which they ARE) This city is broken, and needs a LOT of fixing. Like I said, take issue with the governance if you want, but don't level baseless accusations. We're all adults here. Why don't we act like we are?

P.S. Kudos to "anonymous 12:37pm". While I my personal political beliefs differ from yours, you did hit the nail right on the head. People, vote your conscience. Come November, all of our virtual bickering will mean nothing. Just go vote. Vote for whomever you believe in. I'm a democrat. I'm pro-Obama. I'll argue my point all damned day, but ONLY with people who will go out and vote their conscience. If you're a staunch McCain supporter, good for you. I'll argue you on the issues, but I really hope and pray that you vote for your candidate when the time comes. That's what makes our country great. No matter how much we agree or disagree about the way things operate in this great democracy, we all have the God-given right to vote for the candidate whom we believe represents our core values most closely. Remember: NOBODY is going to take office and fix EVERYTHING on day one. As on Obama supporter, that's my personal problem with the Obama masses. He is NOT the messiah. He will NOT fix everything. Hell, he won't even come close. HOWEVER, he offers a fresh perspective which our country DESPERATELY needs. My personal opinion, of course.

Anyway, like I said-- I don't care who you vote for, just VOTE. Vote your conscience-- exercise your God-given right, and get out there and show the rest of the world how democracy is supposed to work.
