I remember having a Strawberry Shortcake record player when I was a kid. I remember playing The Oak Ridge Boys and Alabama records like it was yesterday.
Name some records you listened to as a kid. Do you still enjoy these songs? Are you embarrassed to still enjoy them?

Embarrassed to say, but the one that sticks out is "Funkytown" by Lipps, Inc.
Oh dear, you asked a music question, I feel compelled to reply.
I suppose the most embarrassing one was Paper Lace "The Night Chicago Died". I even had a little bizare dance I did to it. I found a copy of the song recently and was thrilled to hear it once again. Arrrgggg! It was horrible! No accounting for taste...tsk tsk
PS: Sunny I love your Question of the Day, great addition to sbynews
spill the blood - slayer
Funkytown was a rockin' tune in its day....
i am iron man
Actually, I was embarrassed at the time, because when I was a kid The Monkees were looked down on(as were their fans)as a band that was fabricated for a TV show.Hey,Hey I'm a Monkees fan!
Disco Babeeeeeeeee. KC & The Sunshine Band, The Bee Gees. Saturday Night Fever. Leisure Suits. Earth Shoes. All 70's!
The Theme from Summer Place on a 45 record! Remember those?
In 1964 I was probably the only second grader that brought a "Beatles" album to class for show and tell. I think the teacher may have played it for 20 seconds, then she unplugged that Devil Music.
The still like the Beatles, they played a role of whom I became to be. Their music influences me to this very day.
All We Need Is Love - Good Day Sunshine....Peace
Carol King - Chicken Soup and Rice
rock the boat--anyone remember who sang it?
the Hughes Corp. sang Rock The Boat
One of my favorite band aside from The Beatles was the budda records collection ranging from the 1910 Fruitgum Company to the Ohio Express. Still love powerpop and blast it in my ears whenever possible
