Question of the Day, Mon 6/2
I see more and more each day about gasoline thefts. Have you had gasoline stolen from you? Have you done anything to stop gas thieves from stealing from you? Is your car equipped with locking gasoline lids or doors?

Locks on gas caps and lids won't help too much if they can get to your tank. They are drilling holes in the tanks and draining them that way.It will get much worse in the future.
Have not had gas stolen however yesterday at the pump, it stopped automatically at $75.00. Unfortunately I am driving a larger vehicle and that is what it takes to fill it up. I am just not driving like I used to. Seems like the Big Oil Companies could do something - they are the ones getting rich .
I rented a U-Haul in Delmar for a move to the Western Shore a few months ago. The agreement said that it had 3/4 of a tank but someone had lightened the load for me and there was only 1/4 of a tank when I got on the road. I turned around after driving about a mile and the owners made it right with me.
I suppose it could be done with rental cars too. Be careful out there. What's next..... tractor tanks?
