I read that moron.... Who is he? That is the problem with the Republican Club in Wicomico County, they will put a 'body' in a position just to fill it. No wonder there are no good republican leaders today it is the same ole same ole.

Nothing against Marc Kilmer, but shouldn't someone be better known and active in the community or the club before they take a leadership position.

It would seem to me that a moron is someone who, without knowing any facts, will make inane statements such as you make,9:14. The Wicomico County Republican Club has been very fortunate to have had some fine leaders. They aren't all well-known, nor are they just "bodies." The Club has been attracting a good number of young people who will one day achieve the fame that you seem to think equates with leadership. Marc Kilmer is one of these very competent younger guys. The infusion of young blood into the WCRC will keep it strong for many years to come; the "youngsters" bring balance. Why not come join us sometime at the Chamber of Commerce on E. Main St. the fourth Monday of the month at 7:30 (7:00 social time).

I am sure Marc is a great person, but the comments are to the club and the real leader, the prez of the central committee. He is the one that really runs the Republican Club and they let him.

No, I haven't been commenting here before. I generally use my name when I do. But if someone wants to know more about me, feel free to ask. I'm generally pretty easy to find at any Republican events.

As to who "runs" the Club, we do indeed have a good working relationship with the Central Committee, but they don't tell us what to do. We're a separate entity. The Central Committee is elected by the Republican voters of this county, though, and they are the ones who are the official GOP body in Wicomico. The Club is there to give a forum for Republican leaders and help support Republican activities.

It seems some folks have some misconceptions about the Club here. I'd invite you to come to our meeting on Monday and find out more about us.
