On May 29, 2008 at approximately 9:51 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police Department Community Action Team were in the area of Railroad Avenue when one of the officers observed what the officer believed to be a controlled dangerous substance transaction. The suspect involved in the transaction, listed below, was stopped and was found to be in possession of a quantity of suspected crack/cocaine and a quantity of suspected methadone.
ARRESTED: Anthony Wayne Lloyd, 47 years of age Salisbury, Maryland
CHARGES:
Possession of cocaine
Possession of methadone
Possession of cds/paraphernalia
DISPOSITION: Released to Central Booking CC # 200800018929
On May 30, 2008 at approximately 2:15 am, Officers of the Salisbury Police Department executed a traffic stop on a vehicle operated by the below listed suspect for traffic violations in the area of Light Street and Maryland Avenue. Immediately upon making the stop, the suspect exited the vehicle. The suspect became combative with the officer and caused a disturbance in the neighborhood. As the officers attempted to quiet the suspect the suspect assaulted the officers and then was taken into custody.
ARRESTED: Juvenile, 17 years of age Fruitland, Maryland
CHARGES:
Assault of a police officer
Second degree assault
Disobeying a lawful order
Three (3) traffic violations

Why all these assaults on police officers?
If you look at one wrong they charge you with assault.
Are we living in a Police state?
BECAUSE IF YOU FIGHT YOU GET CHARGED SIMPLE AS THAT
7:18 you jack ass, if someone hits or fights with you it is an assault. These kids today are not afraid of anything these days, least of all the court system. That's why they are doing it.
I remember last week a couple people talking about the police sitting in the vine street area. there have been two busts this week, I past the second one today
i do thank SPD and WCSO, law enforcement agencies with the help of the citizens all working together can accomplish something. it does take community action, the police just can't search their residence because a citizen said the drug dealing is happening. The law has to stake out and catch them in the act or buy it from them
some people don't want to report for fear of retaliation, do they feel better locked up inside of their home all the time?
that's about the only thing I agree with Hillary on, "It does take a Village."
