Question of the Day, Sat 5/31
What's the last thing you bought online? Were you happy with your purchase? Do you buy frequently from websites like Ebay, Overstock, etc.? Where do you find your best deals online?

My wife buys a lot from the net. I don't , we live a ways from town and it does save us from driving 25 miles one way. I thinks it is a great thing to have .
I buy tons of stuff online since nowadays shipping is usually cheaper than the gas to go get it.
To compare prices on things:
www.pricegrabber.com - this site covers just about everything www.bestbookdeals.com - find the cheapest place to buy books! www.pricewatch.com - mainly computer stuff.
Check out the reputation of the online store here before buying:
The last thing I bought online was books from Barnes and Noble. I was very happy with what I got. I have in the past purchase things from ebay, but I tend to stick to the store I am comfortable with. Now for the best deals I find amazon.com for me has the best for cds, dvds, and books. I live outside of town and as well find it cheaper to have somethings shipped to me. Many stores if the purchase is large enough will ship for free and I receive things pretty quick. I will continue to purchase off the internet.
When I joined our neighborhood association, a couple of the original members had priced crime watch signs from several local sign companies, the cheapest was $60 a sign!
I ordered them as the other members asked me to do, two months later I was still hearing, "huh they haven't come in yet?" Bull Hockey
I googled and found expressmyself.com, they have all kinds of signs, .80 gauge heavy duty aluminum with baked on enamel paint. They were $19.95 a piece, if you buy 20 they are $15.95 a sign and if your order is over $100 shipping is free.
I ordered 20 to start and was a little skeptical, I sent them a check and had them in less than two weeks. Somebody at the sign company lost themselves $1200. They are nice heavy duty signs.
If not for the internet I'd never shop. I despise shopping. Most places I deal with offer free or reduced shipping. Walmart will ship to their store and call you to come pick it up. Nice for large heavy items, no shipping.
Sams I can shop online and have it pulled and ready to pick up when I get there.
I only go in town to buy from local owned businesses and even some of them now have sites so I just order online and still support our local small businesses
