A Letter To The Daily Times

A Reader of Salisbury News sent me the following:

"I called last week and spoke with a gentleman in Customer Service concerning not receiving my papers. The situation has not gotten any better and delivery is very sporadic. I would appreciate a reply as to how I can be guaranteed a paper delivery everyday. There is never an issue taking that payment from my acct once a month. I was also told I would be receiving a credit and have yet to see one. If I do not see results within the next week I will be cancelling my subscription and also passing along my experience to anyone considering purchasing "The Daily Times." Thanks for your immediate attention and response to this matter."

You might as well cancel.
You wont get your refund.
everyone has the same problem.
so get over it and cancel .
I cancelled it when you can read the whole paper in 10 minutes and it was a waste of 10 minutes.

I have had the same problem with my paper. It was actually the carrier that delivers the paper. What I did was everyweek I would keep track of the days it was late, missing, and wet. The missing ones I would call that day, but I would email Rick Jenson, Jason Chuna, and the head manager of circulation Nikki Lavigne. So far this has seemed to help. Now there are those occasional days where they have press issues that the carrier can not control, but emailing them, calling them and being a pain in the a$$ helps. Try this and see if it helps you.

Your paper is wet because the Daily Times charges the carriers for rubber bands and plastic bags to put the paper in. I don't blame the carriers for not buying the bags anymore. They get paid 8 cents per daily paper and 24 cents for the Sunday paper. Gas has gone up but their rate of pay remains the same. If I was a carrier I'd organize a strike. let them deliver their own damned paper. Only thing it's good for anymore is shredding and using for packing.

why would anyone support such a communist propagandy rag, you would be less affective if you sent your money straight to alqiada. They purposly and knowingly hide the truth of whats going on in the area, and have for MANY years refused to print anything that would shed the true light on any of the corrupt officials ruining our city.
For these reasons I have not purchased nor read this paper in over 30yrs. This year I will be sending them a bill for having to pick up their trash they throw in my yard now, twice a week.

This is not a newspaper! Its the tilghman Times, formerly the Boscov Times (when they switched from an evening paper to the morning piece of c***). And the Editrotial staff stinks on this excuse for a paper!

I don't know why everyone talks about having trouble getting the paper delivered. I can't get it stopped! I cancelled my father's paper delivery back in November after he died. In the past 2 weeks, the paper has suddenly started reappearing. Now I have pulled the box up and now the paper was left on the ground at the side of the road.
