Just Out Of Curiousity?

Wasn't there another Salisbury LAX Player with the last name HILL in trouble last year for driving over and tearing up lawns in Nutters Crossing? Does anyone remember that name and or the outcome of such vandalism?

Thought that was a local boy, senior in high school.

He was a junior at Parkside High when that event happened.

Now look, I'm told he was on the LAX Team when it happened.

I'm pretty sure he was in high school because a lot of folks were waiting to see if it would be an SU student.

This was far enough out and the M.O. is more high school.

That dude was in high school when that happen. I remember he was with some other highschoolers as well, but it was him driving.

To clarify - Zach Hill was a freshman on the SU lax team when the incident occured. The two guys with him were in high school at Parkside.

Ah, another FINE LAXer from SU. I'm just so proud.

Not.

Isn't anywhere why Jocks have a bad name and Salisbury University is still known both as a Jock School and one of the Top 10 Party Schools in the country?

All of their improvements in academics gets overshadowed by this nonsense. While I feel sorry for the good students there, I don't feel a damn bit sorry for the institution because its leaders condone this crap by soft consequences and by crapping on the neighborhoods as though THEIR KIDDIES are somehow MORE ENTITLED to housing than everybody else.

This sense of entitlement is pervasive throughout that university, hence the broken record of "Salisbury would be nothing without us, wah, wah, wah."

So, who taught them that? Their parents? The university administration? Their landlords? They learned that mentality somewhere.

Any reason why SU always does a pre-season scrimmage with the Duke U Lax team -- birds of a feather, perhaps.

this is disgusting... this has nothing to do with SU Lax. this just proves that local kids are just a capable as destroying neighborhoods as SU kids. what about the local kids that destroyed all those mailboxes, thats a federal offense.
and the Duke Lax comment, those kids did nothing wrong the city and school are paying for it; its only a matter of time before Salisbury does the same thing.

all in all, stupid kids do stupid things. no matter where they are from.

My recollection is that this incident happened last fall, and his picture was in the paper, the other two were juveniles at the time. They went to Parkside--Hill had barely started at SU so why exactly is SU responsible for them? Why aren't their parents the ones to blame here?

So he was from the city of Salisbury right...

Since we are in the business of bringing up old crimes etc... I 've got a fantastic idea. Why dont we compare the crimes comitted by Salisbury residents and compare that to offenses comitted by Salisbury lax players?

i'd be willing to bet if you did your research Zach Hill never spent a minute on a salisbury university lacrosse roster

"Duke U Lax team -- birds of a feather, perhaps."

The prostitute who accused those players from Duke of rape was eventually found out to be a liar. Don't mix them(duke) in with the 2 miscreants that actually comitted a crime.

Hill was also charged with giving alcohol to the minors who accompanied him.

It's NOT the parents fault, it's the BOYS fault. You can't tell me they didn't know what they did was wrong.
