How did we get from an $8 million surplus last year to a predicted $4 million deficit next year? What about growth paying for growth? Did that plan fail?
While technically accurate that the Times article incorrectly stated her position, this correction does not place the blame where it belongs --
ON THE MAYOR who told the reporter A LIE, a newbie reporter not around for last year's debacle.

Barrie took $4 million and tossed it in the FY09 budget to balance it. No thought to where it was needed, just tossed it in there. She's leaving it up to the council to decide. In other words, she is setting Debbie Campbell up in a major way. It doesn't matter how fiscally responsible Debbie or Terry are that good ole 3-2 vote will shoot them down every single time.
Hows that for ACCOUNTABILITY Lyin Louise?
If she says "I'm responsible" one more time I really will pee in public!
