So now it starts. I pointed out that the city's infrastructure is in bad need of work, back a few days ago. And now it starts. All the neglect by this mayor will now come home to haunt her and all us tax payers!

Wow I guess the Prostitutes and Drug Dealers will have to find a new strip to walk.

Does that mean the occupants of the homes nearby have go without a toilet flush while it's being worked on?

Lets just bulldoze the entire street!

The general consensus over here seems to be that "routine" work they were doing yesterday went horribly wrong. I can't wait until they're done, way too much traffic being detoured down my street.

And knock off the comments about prostitutes and drug dealers, please. (anon 1:11) This area has really cleaned up compared to what it was.

It's attitudes like yours that make it difficult to change things.

little late joe, they were working on this since Thursday!

If they started on the 8th and don't expect it to be finished until 5/14, doesn't sound like routine maintainence.

Did the pressure from all that rain cause the sewage pipe to burst? Didn't take but overnight to fix a watermain break on the aging water pipes on Main street a couple of weeks ago.

Sounds like they F'd something up while working on it.

It would probably help if they were actually WORKING on it. Instead, a diesel powered pump has been the only thing moving since Friday night.
