The hell with the fireworks! I've lived in my house and neighborhood for 37 years. I'm sick and tired of hearing the noise and disrupting my quiet evening. It's a shame they have to have fireworks to drag the crowd out. Too bad the love of baseball isn't enough. Many of my neighbors feel the same way. We moved here way before they built Perdue Stadium.Maybe it's time we get a petition and try to have fireworks frequently. At our age we go to bed around 9:00 PM.

I agree, too much noise and smoke pollution. Whats to keep them from having them very night?

Get over it. They would never have fireworks every night as fireworks are expensive. Fireworks are a part of minor league ball everywhere you go not just in Salisbury my friend.

Joe, pretty soon the residents of this town are going to petition for silent hours. No noise what so ever in Salisbury!

Why not just a laser light show? Awesome and quiet except for the ooh's and ah's.

I also agree with you that it is not necessary to have as many nights of fireworks that they have. They are expensive and they pollute the air as well as disturb the quietness that the area surrounging the stadium used to have. Why in the hell do you think I moved out of Salisbury?

To 7:42 - Perdue Stadium is not in Salisbury idiot. Move it into the city and raise hell. Have fireworks, shootings, loud beer parties. Just have a ball. The country is supposed to be quiet with birds singing, crickets chirping, owls hooting, etc. Get a city life man.We country folks were here first. You're as bad as some of these new comers who came to the shore. They bought a new house next to a chicken farm and now complain about smelling chicken shit.Same scenario Mac.
