Robberies in the University Area in the Last Hour or So.

5 robberies have been reported tonight in the University Area. A friend of mine said an officer came in to the convient store where he was at to give forwarning. So be vigilant tonight and report any suspicious activities to proper authorities.

There are 2 suspects. One is 6'2 and the other is 6'4. They are both black males, wearing jeans. If you have any info, contact the SPD.

The crooks must have heard that crime was down, can't have that. Something might be done to reduce crime before the body count gets higher.

I have heard a big increase in the crime in that area the last few weeks. They sound like the same suspects who always end up fleeing on foot toward the neighborhoods across from Bennett. Public needs to be vigilent and keep a sharp eye out and help the police catch these guys.

The thieves know the SU students will be leaving in about a month or so, they want to steal all they can before the goodies are gone.

Call the Sheriffs dept all you'll get from SPD is "We don't have anyone to send right now."

Also, the thieves are probably thinking that if they steal before the semester is over that the blame will be partly put on the students.

Will somebody please share with me, what is the big difference between what city officers do and sheriffs deputies do? When WSCO arrests a petty thief, everyone comes on here like the greatest service ever was just done. But I read on here quite frequently about SPD making arrests for bigger crimes (or at least just as big) and all people can do is mock them for it!
