Wicomico County Humane Society's "Cause for Paws" fundraiser was held Sat, April 12, 2008. It is heart warming to see such great support from the community. The unofficial count for this event raised over $11,000. Let's keep up this generous support for the homeless animals of our community! As one of the business sponsor's for this event I would like to personally thank each and every walker, volunteer worker, and other businesses that helped make this event such a huge success. wish I would have been there. What a great job the Humane Society does. We adopted our pet there eight years ago and he has been the best addition to our family.
It's great to hear that they had such a successful event in spite of all the rain we had yesterday. Kudos to all, my two rescues also thank you.
I've always had "pound" puppies, they make the greatest friends for kids. Somebody has to love them.
The SBY Humane Society is a disgrace. They are hardly worth contributing money to. Give your money to Somerset County HS, where the money will actually go to help the animals.
Want Linda won't tell you is there were 6 dogs fighting with each other during the frame. If this happens while at an event like this, while they are on leashes and can be pulled apart safely, what do you think will happen at the new dog park where they can run free.
