Today's Daily Times

Allow me to tell you a little story about yesterdays murder in Parsonsburg. If you're wondering WHY the Daily Times has no photographic coverage of that event, THEY WEREN'T THERE.

All too often any more you're simply seeing the story but in many cases, they never showed up for the event and usually go off of press releases and or they bully the people involved into telling them what happened, seriously.

The Daily Times is losing power fast and many important people are sick and tired of them strong arming them for the story the day before so they can compete with television news. Yesterday was an interesting example.

When I arrived, (FIRST) to the scene, the Police stated NO ONE could go up the road, not even the Press. A friend of mine pulled up right at that moment, trying to get to their own home ON THAT ROAD, she was refused access. Mind you, the murder was probably 1/2 a mile away and they could have easily gotten to their home in less than a 1/4 mile. Nevertheless, we said hello and they said, "follow me." At that time, 47 & 16 News had arrived and I yelled out to them, if you want to get to the scene, FOLLOW ME!

This friend took us through farms and corn fields, (literally) and we accessed their property and were able to get shots right from there. Once the Police saw that we were close, they waved us on to get closer to the scene, THANK YOU!

Even if and when The Daily Times arrived, THEY COULDN'T GET THERE! The tide is changing Ladies & Gentlemen. Rather than someone holding the door open all the time for The Daily Times, more often than not, they're now holding it open for Salisbury News instead. I should add. I received a tip call about the shooting from this property owner telling me that if they didn't let me through, call them back and they'd tell me how to access those fields.

Maybe we'll see you guys at the next one?

They didn't let you through either you tard. You got through by going through a field in total disregard for what the officer told you in the beginning. You only got through because you blew someone...Sorry knew someone that lived there not because you’re F-in Joe Albero. I'm glad you felt the need to invade and ruin a crime scene and force your way on a story. Yet you bitch about the DT doing it. On a side note judging by the distance in which you took your pictures they didn't wave you to come closer because you were really far away. They waved to you to get the fuck out of there and stop taking pictures of the crime scene. You were distracting real people that work.

I just had to let this one through. I want you to see what these Anti Albero Bloggers are all about. I delete 50 to 100 of these a day. Honestly, they just keep sending them in and looking like Idiots.

I would think that if they wanted Joe gone, he would have been escorted off the property. I think you are the 'tard, anonymous.

Anonymous 8:57 are you saying the police can't focus on a crime scene? Hell what do you think they do in a big city?

I'm sure if the police thought that there was a chance the crime scene would have been compromised they would have taken steps to secure it.

Hey Joe , Why in the world do you think they need to be there? You've done ALL the work for them , all these TARDS need to do is read your blog . It seems to me you do a better job at reporting more accurate up to date news . As late as the daily surprise is they would have plenty of time reporting after reading your blog (maybe then they could be more accurate). But of course they would have to get that approved by Mayor Tilghman and you and I both know that isn't going to happen .

it should be obvious that the first anon works for the Daily Times. What I find strange is that the times removed Jesse\'s name from the story. It was on their site last night after it appeared here and at wboc.com, but it has since been removed from the time\'s site. As an aside, I knew the victim\'s family and my heart goes out to them. No one should have to go through what they are going through right now.

And Joel, I hope you don\'t see the times at next one. I hope there isn\'t a next one.
