Major Fire On Nanticoke Road Right Now

There seems to be a woods fire on Nanticoke Road where it's getting out of control. They called for a Plow to come out but were told it would take 45 minutes to an hour to get there. They're calling in Tankers from all over the area as Salisbury is lacking this exact equipment Councilwoman Debbie Campbell has been screaming about. Yet Flip & Flop know what they're doing, right?

My next guess is, the Salisbury Fire Department will be asking for a $800,000.00 Bulldozer instead of large tankers. More to come.........

Yes and they had to be re-alerted. Time is of the essence people. Does anyone know the time standards on re-alerts? Does anyone know how fast a fire can burn when the wind is blowing and no one comes to the rescue to put it out. OMG when is the county going to step in and take over the fire and EMS service. How many people have to die before the county does what is right. This is the only county in the state of Maryland with a County Executive and no County Fire Department. That's it just let the renegades keep killing everyone and losing valuable property.

'Were not in the TANKER business' "Flip" has said . It will be a sad day when we lose lives in a house fire in the county when we can't get enough Tankers there on time to put it out........thats just my opinion

the fire dept will ask for whatever they need to serve the public wheather they get it or not is a different story. WE dont ask for crazy things most of the salisbury ffs thought that the superstation was a bad idea!!! as for the re-alerts they allow two minutes for an ems call and four minutes for a fire call which includes car accidents and so forth
