At least for the Salisbury Police Department anyway. One of the perks about joining the Salisbury Police Department was if you lived in the City, you got a take home car. NOT any more!
Due to so many vehicles getting crushed, (like the one above) and the Mayor refusing to give the money the Police Department so desperately needs, those perks are now gone. Like typical Governments, they gave their pay raises and then took away the perks. Some might call it a scam?
Nevertheless, the Salisbury Police Department will lose more and more Officers that way. However, it's only the stupid ones that actually live IN the City anyway. The smart ones know better than to participate in a 14% tax increase while pocketing their new pay increases and NOT giving it back to the City.

maybe if thoses yoyo's used their turn signals this would happen quite as offen.
From the salaries listed for Ocean City police in the Daily Times this morning, I should think that all of our "men in blue" would apply there! The overhead paid was enough to boggle the mind.
