John Robinson Arrested At Robinson Clock & Jewelery

This is the official Press Release on the John Robinson arrest today. John had told me he was getting ready to put the gun away, which made no sense to me, but that's what he said. I know if "I" owned a store like his and I had a permit to carry, I'd have that puppy on me 24/7 while I was IN the store.
It was said that John allegedly made the employee who was allegedly hit by fragments from the gun going off stay at work the rest of the day without the ability to seek medical attention.
Once a Family member learned what had happened that day, (from what John told me directly) the guy came in ready to beat the crap out of him. John claims the man shoved him, or something like that. IMO, he's lucky the guy didn't kick the sh!t out of him.
John then claimed this young female had a zit on her neck and that the fragments from the gun going off didn't hit her there. Obviously the Police and Grand Jury didn't buy it.
Well at least everyone knows what to expect when they go into the Robinson Clock & Jewelery Store and the safest time to do so is right now, while John is behind bars.

Got a watch battery today. John was in his store at like 1:00. Picked it up at like 3:30 from John. Are you sure this is correct?

I remember stories of several local police officers accidentally discharging their glocks and hit other officers and they were not indicted. Whats up maybe John needs to talk to them. Sounds like John is being persecuted for a ACCIDENT. Civily liable but CRIMINAL I don't think so. He is going to get a good lawyer and pay several thousands of dollards to get this quashed.

The worst case scenario here is that a registered owner of a handgun was fooling around and a round was accidentally fired, causing something the size of a small pebble to fly and hit a bystander. Not trying to downplay the seriousness of such an occurence (and no disrespect intended toward the victim or her family), but our city and county and their respective police forces could choose someone better to make an example out of. All over town there are serious crimes being committed, and many people brandishing and firing UNregistered handguns on the streets. People that read these blogs that don't leave their homes after the sun goes down probably don't realize the level of drug-related crimes and violence that really goes on in this city. Surely in the 5 weeks between this incident and Mr. Robinson's arrest, Salisbury's finest could have locked up a few more people on Church Street, but they'd rather target a prominent business owner and contributing member of society.

Amen to Rob S. Why are the police not more interested in taking care of the "hard core" criminals that are out on the streets (ie Jermaine Wright) or druggies that are robbing and stealing from the hard working people! These are the people that should be behind bars....not a small business owner who is trying to make a living on his own with employees to take care and dearly pay taxes to Wicomico County. Then have County employees to "steal" from us here in the County...BTW, why is Ray Lewis out walking the streets? Should he not be the one behind bars?
