In piecing through it it appears he got into a fight with his wife that got physical. Is he an abusive beast? Are they getting divorced, and this is her ploy to get him out of the house? Who knows? HELLO!?!?!?!?! Knowing the Administrator of a Nursing Home has some sort of Criminal Incident is important. If this person allows abuse in their HOME, imagine what MAY be going on in the Nursing Home? You wouldn't believe the amount of Elder Abuse that can go on in these sorts of places. If the Administrator can't keep his self control, what are the chances that he will lose it with employees and/or residents.

kelly wroten is an a biggoted asshole. he only cares about the residents at the Bay who are affluent in the community, he sits in his office when he's there playin on the computer, he doesn't interact with his staff or the residents there. it is very believable that he abused his wife, earlier in the year he was involved with calling a parent at the csd football game a nigger. just think about it people. he hasn't been to work since this happened, then he hurried himself into the psych ward to try to get out of it. Asshole he was born and asshole he will die.
It amazes me how people especially in Cambridge have nothing better to do but to bask in somebody's misery. We all know this guy is not the greatest guy in the world and that he has done a lot of horrible things to people but many of us need to keep our mouths shut and realize that there are kids involved. This is a hard thing for his entire family and although he is an asshole you guys need to realize that his son and daughter will be greatly affected by this if he is charged. So maybe you should learn to keep your opinions to yourself because almost all of the rumors going around aren't even true so get a life Cambridge and maybe show some sympathy for the ones who are really hurting from this...
when you go to the md judiciary case search you only find this case, he doesn't have a history...think about it more than one person has this name and i highly doubt he would be fighting for guardianship in baltimore county....think before you post stuff. Oh and I also agree with the last comment, think about the kids. His wife does suck!! I have had several family members stay under Mr. Wrotens care and have been very pleased. If in fact his wife did cheat and broke a vowel to Mr Wroten, God and their children then she should have her name drug through the mud. I don't know Mr. Wroten well but I do believe everyone is innocent until proven guilty. The sad thing is I only see negative about Mr Wroten, what about the good he has done. Like when he stood up for the Open Bible Church and requested that the City of Cambridge help the Church buy a new bus, or helped organize a fund raising motorcyle ride to help Sydney Mooney the daughter of the late Lt. Adam Mooney.

Enough is enough! I suppose a woman wearing a mini skirt deserves to be raped as well by the comments for the last blogger. I thought in todays society REAL MEN would not make these comments or have his actions! It is unfortunate that she cheated on her husband of twenty years. It is also unfortunate that he is a liar, bully, braggort,dope addict and drug dealer. While her actions are against the the God's laws of marriage it does not entitle a man 6'4'' to physically as well assualt with a weapon any woman (in witness of one of his children) let alone a woman that is 5'3" after he is coming down from a drug binge. However, it does entitle him to seek divorce, seek custody and possibly gain sole ownership of their home. Spouses cheat. It is sad but no excuse for violence.
Give me a break about him being a model citizen. This information is not in the local papers because he has connections and others are afraid of his retaliation (of which there has been plenty). I'm happy that you have had a good realtionship with Mr. Kelly T. Wroten, consider yourself one of the few and very fortunate. You think he's a wonderful person. Talk to an employee that is not a family friend or one that he has not used the scratch my back I'll scratch your back scenario on. If he has taken care of one your realitives and you felt that he was responsible for their care...think again. He used fear and intimidation toward his employees to ensure the job was done. The fact of the matter is everyone deserved great care under Mr. Wroten's watch. Not just his friends, relatives or affluent members of the community. "His" people are given special private rooms and even flowers at the expense of moving other patients out to make way for his privledged. Lets not forget that he has been kicked off the local footbal fields for his actions and recently his racial screams in the middle of a football game. A supposed educated man once again verbally assualting a woman. That was not in the paper either.
While at his current employment he has done nothing for the community. I just can't figure out why he is still employed by this company. As another blogger said, he is never there. Often seen riding around town while his team handles the business. Speak out and get you'll find yourself without a job. Ever since Mr. Wroten arrived at Mallard Bay the care has decreased as documneted by the amount of times the state surveyors have been to the building. I believe it is against state regulations to have an abuse record as well as testing positive for drug use. I'm sorry alleged abuse record. And his drug induced rage was left out the police report. Although he is now in treatment. Other employees are fired for such things. You can see from the court record that he was arrested by the MD state police, they filed the charges not Mrs. Wroten because the Police saw cause. Meaning they saw bruises, marks etc. She later placed a restraining order, which was upheld.
As far as the plastic surgery, give me a break thats a motive for sure...he's had his share of plastic surgery as well. He is just as vain.
Bottom line is he assualted someone and the police were finally called and he got caught. Whatever happens happens. He is still working and nothing will probably come form this anyway afterall he is Kelly Wroten.
I agree enough is enough, and I also agree a woman wearing a mini skirt isn't asked to be raped. But wrong is wrong and if it is true that Judy cheated and its true that Kelly did hit her then they were both wrong. I never leave comments on these sort of things and only recently heard this was even on here, but today I feel it necessary to say something. Kelly has been a great friend to me and my family for as long as I can remember. I can read each of the bloggs and clearly tell which ones are from employees and which ones are from people in the community. Employees I believe get some sort of pleasure seeing Kelly in the head lines and possibly be in trouble. Thats just what employees do, they think they can do their boss's job better and deserve to make the same pay. The fact of the matter is some of us make better employees then boss's. I have had family members stay at Mallard bay both before and after Kelly became the administrator. Tell me why things are cleaner and why not only my family members but the people they were there with seemed to be treated better. If it takes threats, intimidation and fear to get results like that then GOOD!! and those who are intimidated by anyone should be where they are on the rungs of employment at Mallard Bay. Now as I said I have known Kelly and his family as long as I can remember, I was shocked about the entire situation and I hope they figure things out as a family. I have seen false statements that I know 100% are false such as the benefit ride and the weapon assult. I am curious about the football incident and the Drug Tests failure, Dealer and user. I hope the last blogger isn't trying to smear his name and can provide some sort of proof. We should all remember Innocent untill proven guilty, not the other way around.
I'm glad you cleared your stance up. I was under the impression you thought that some of the bloggers were condoning violence. Do not be misinformed it was not commented that he failed any test just that if test were to be failed it would be nursing home regulations. I know any form of abuse record is. You are correct in one fact since never having purchased drugs or personnally witnessing any drug useage hearsay being from anyone is wrong. I apologize for repeating gossip whether or not it came from a so-called reliable source or not.

Kelly has just recently been placed at another home in Elkton as the Administrator. I am SCARED. Hopefully he has turned over a new leaf-he has bullied one person out of the home already though. I don't want to work under constant fear and intimidation-I don't need that because I do my job and then some. I feel good every day because I know that I give 110% to my residents. What I am fearful of is the fact that I have never been the sort of person to rub elbows with the elite-or smooth things over that need correcting. I have always been a straight forward kind of person who likes things done right. I pray Kelly is not this Monster they paint him to be. For my sake, fellow employees sake, and most importantly-OUR RESIDENTS SAKE!!
It is interesting that they took him from Mallard Bay with these known facts and sent him to Lauralwood in Elkton. They have the same owners. Because administrators are few, they recycle the same arrogant bastards around. Joe Steir is his Boss and this is not the first AH administrator they have moved around to protect them. They are reborn christians except they took Christ out. The Residents in all facilities deserve quality of life, quality of care. What goes round, comes round.
