Remember Joe that a little over 1 year ago the repubilicans were in charge of congress. The voters decided to buy into the democrat partys line that they were going to lower our gas prices and since they were elected they have gone up faster then ever.When will america realize the democrat party is not the party of the working man it only represents special interest groups. The tax payer and the working stiff be damned
Another thing to remember about the price of gas is that in 1995 Bill Clinton vetoed a bill that was passed by a repubilican congress to allow drilling in Anwar,Alaska, 12 years later we would of had millions of barrells of crude at our disposal.This supply would have definitely reduced the cost at the pump!
And dont forget the obvious....people are STILL too hardheaded to do anything to conserve gas!They are still driving around in gashogs which,if you need a heavy duty vehicle for whatever prupose-fine.But I have lost count of how many yuppie women I see driving an SUV that they cant even handle on the road or park properly,where the only "off road" terrain it sees is a dirt driveway!I dont know people can afford to spend 100+ bucks a week on just gas!30 bucks in our Honda will take us through a whole week and we save the bigger van for heavy work.
