Recently there was a horrific fire on Washington Street that took the lives of three people. Two of them were a Mother and Daughter, Angel & Cora. Sadly, the Family does not have enough money to bury their loved ones and Rite Aide is reaching out to the Community for help. Angel worked at the Rite Aide on Mt. Hermon Road.
The family has held a Memorial Service in Baltimore and was done. As a community, this is a great opportunity once again to reach out and deliver something very special.

Does the Salisbury Fire Department have anything going on right now as an effort to bring in any donations? I would think that since they were there and are as close to the situation as anyone can get, they would make some kind of effort. It may even be therapeutic for the firefighters in that they may get some closure out of helping them one last time.
It would also be an excellent opportunity for them to change the opinion of the people who feel that the administration of the SFD takes takes takes and never gives anything back.
Are you kidding me! The SFD wouldn't do sh!t unless the Press were there boosting their egos.
They all went home and had to explain to their children why they were so sad. OK Idiots, now let's see how many sad faces there are when you go out and try to help this Family pay for the burial expenses? NOT, won't happen!
Daddy, why are you so sad? Because that bad man Mr. Albero keeps exposing us for who we really are and calls us pussies and daddy doo doesn't like it when someone says dat to daddy doo. Daddy Doo, is it true your lips and buck teeth flap in the wind when you're hanging off the Fire Truck? ARGHHHH!
I don't know if they have donated anything or if it has been planned but, I'd lay 10 to 1 odds that if anything has been, or will be done, you, Mr. Albero will take credit for goading the fire department into it.

If "I" am the cause for the SFD to get up off their asses and do something for this Family, I've done well. You see, they're not doing anything, NOTHING! Just going door to door asking people if they have smoke detectors. Their spot light is over and they have no interest in doing anything good for this Family, that's just reality. I hope I do talk some of them independently into doing something, even if it means they stop by Rite Aide because it's the right thing to do.

Actually we are doing 'something' for the families,and thanks to you we found out (about Rite Aide)I had personally talked to 'Holloways' and they didn't have any info. on the Mom and child and I tried to contact a good friend and hadn't heard any reply yet. So thank you, you've help us with that.

All donations should be donated to the family members and not to Rite-Aid. Rite Aid and Eckerds on Mt Herman Rd are collecting donations to give to the family to help out with any expenses the family may of occured during this time. Rite Aid received a call from the orginal bloggers wanting information on where to donate, unfortunately they did not have any of the family information to pass on and was informed that they could donate to the stores till family information was received from a family member. The money is waiting for the family, waiting on contact from the family.
