As you can clearly see, the Salisbury Fire Department is enjoying the pleasure of using City vehicles all the way over the State Line into Delaware. Does this individual LIVE in Delaware? Have they been telling everyone they live in Maryland? This photo clearly PROVES this property is in fact in the State of Delaware! Is this a personal House Call in Delaware?
All I can tell you is, I DON'T LIKE IT! I'll also state, I smell a rat! If you're going to HEAD a Department in the City, YOU NEED TO LIVE IN THE CITY! To take money from one State and bring it to another, BS! Get your own damn car then! ACCOUNTABILITY!

Boy, they are really going above and beyond to help their brothers in DE. Man, it must be great to be able to cross the line and have the lesser taxes, and a nice city job to boot.
The car is the Chiefs vehicle. He is required to respond to serious incidents while off duty in the city. Who the hell would want to live in this city anyway. At least in Delaware your not taxed to death and its peaceful.

The City of Salisbury has NO accountability, especially with See & Gordy. How many times do we have to find their vehicles in the State of Delaware?
The police cars are put out for bid. Hertrich won the bid. Wicomico County is not the only cars they supplied. ALL federal, state and municipal purchases are put out for bid when the purchase is above a mandated dollar amount.

There is nothing wrong with where D See lives. Whats the big deal? I would not move my house just because my job was in Salisbury. It does not say anywhere in Daves contract that he has to live in Salisbury let alone Maryland!

He is a smart man saving money in that way. dont you live in the same area? if your complaining so much about the fact that he is the cheif of the SFD and lives there then I think we need to start getting on your case about being a resident of the same state and crossing the state line and taking your pictures of here. if you smell a rat its probaly you. The FD works alot differently than the PD. I know for a fact that in the case of a major disater that he can be with in a SFD first due with in a matter of minutes. you are always on the SFD's and SPD's cases about stupid stuff. but answer me a few questions and truely answer them. Why is it that when people from a FD reconize you taking pictures of a FD responding why do you run away like a scaried little girl? I mean if Im correct and I am not saying I am but after 9-11 is still a law that you can not take a picture of FD, GOB, PD, and anything like that, I thought it was against the law. If you were asked by a high ranking offical of the FD or PD to come in and truthful answer any questions you might have to get the right answers instead of some of the made up stuff you come up with would you? I respect some of the stuff you put on here but I think the s@#t sling you are doing should come to a stop until you know the full truth.

I saw a Wicomico County Sherrif at the Bull On the Beach Reasturant in West Ocean City A couple months ago in uniform in a marked car eating lunch with 3 ladies. Would this be abuse of a marked county vehicle. Would you have a problem with this? If it was Chief See or Gordy you would, but it was Mike Lewis himself so I doubt you would be bitching about it. Or would you come up with an excuse for him.

Nope. Mike was walking in front of a Deputy vehicle and it was Gary Baker driving it. They were in a parade.

First, I have a college education. I have a Bachelors degree in Business Administration with a Concentration in Management from Salisbury University (cum laude, I might add).
Second, I also have completed a 2-year Paramedic program with over 1500 clinical hours. This is now the equivalent of an Associates Degree at institutions such as Wor-Wic.
So the majority of the firefighters both career and volunteer are educated. We can spell correctly and use the appropriate punctuation. This is a BLOG and many people simply type and post. This is not a professional business letter and many feel why take the time to proofread. Hell, most of them don't sign their name anyway.

So what you are telling me is that being I saw Mike Lewis there in uniform that his unmaked car would of been in the parking lot and since he doesnt drive a marked car there must have been a non uniformed officer there also. So 2 cars, 2 officers, 30 miles out of jurisdiction and that is no problem. But living 300 ft across the state line is a problem

my neighbor is actualy closer to salisbury city limits than he would be if he lived places in wicomico county, you should be more concerned about the police officers running buisnesses on the side and using their cars and taxpayer time to do it
