Rumor Has It Gilchrest Will Retire

Could the pressure be on with tomorrows announcement Pipkin will join the race that Gilchrest knows he can't win between Pipkin and Harris?

Red Maryland Blog thinks so. Or should I say, so he's been told? By whom, I wonder?

Looks like they are trying to pull a quick switch in the last minute.

Why would Wayne let a rumor like that floats around if it wasn't true.

That would mean Andy Harris is front runner. Go Andy!!!

Pipkin entering the race will only increase Gilchrest's chances of winning. It will split the anti-Gilchrest vote even more. I doubt that Pipkin is picking up and more Gilchrest voters.

Maybe Gilchrest will retire after this term and Pipkin doesn't want to be left out of an open seat race.

Dear Dr. Harris:

Better keep your day job!

Gilchrest's polling #'s are low now. It looks pretty bad for him.
Sooooo, here enters Pipkin... Now let's see what kind of #s Wayne gets. I think they will remain low, if not go lower.

I think Wayne is just testing the waters right now. Afterall he hasn't spent any of his own money. It was the taxpayers money & other Pac money that was running & sending his promotions. If his rates go up, he still has plenty of money to spend.

It looks to me like a split on the Eastern shore vote. Senator Harris is in a very good position.

I wonder how poor Gilchrist will survive on his $15,000.00 a month congressional pension. Plus he will be able to keep all his campaign contributions if doesn't run. What a tough decision !
