NO DAILY TIMES AGAIN TODAY!

The Daily Times has once again failed to deliver the daily paper. Perhaps they're complaining about PRODUCTION PROBLEMS again since their new facility that isn't supposed to be open can't shove those inserts in the paper there any longer and they're having trouble producing a paper at all? All I can tell you is, I DON'T HAVE MY PAPER!

I saw them delivering in my neighborhood yesterday at about 10:45am... guess they are just starting late??? I am sure you will get your paper- maybe just not when you wanted it!

I live on the north side of Salisbury (outside of city limits) and my paper is delivered every day by 5:30am.

Maybe if they could maintain employees for longer than a year the press would be maintained by the same people instead of God knows who, this month and God only knows next month. Its like a company vehicle, if it is assigned to one person you will get longer life out of the equipment. The presses and everything else at the Daily Times has someone different working it everytime you turn around. I'd love to know the numbers of their actual turnover rate. I know for a fact they can't keep anyone in the department that supervises the carriers. It seems they change district managers quarterly if not sooner. Everytime you call there you will talk to someone different that is supposed to be supervising your delivery area. Home Delivery is not the only department with high turnover, just ask anyone that works there. Look how many reporters have covered the city in the few years.

It would be interesting to know what they pay these carriers for all of the down time spent waiting for the papers so they can get out and do their job of delivering them.
