Although Pam sat there and explained that this company had raised more money last year than the year before, even though gas prices went up, they're short some $30,000.00, (their exact management fee) they're asking the Taxpayers make up the difference.IMO, these guys are in business and sometimes you have good years, some times you have bad years. However, you do NOT charge back so conveniently and not slap them on the wrist for making mistakes!
If "I" were on that council I'd simply say, too bad, too sad. If you're not qualified to be in this business, perhaps we should look for someone else to manage the property? NOPE, not Mike Dunn and Gary Comegys. Pay them for their losses. IDIOTS! The City IS a business and must be treated like one.
Stop allowing these people to bellyache over $30,000.00! If a business can't afford to lose $30,000.00 on one location, they can't afford to be in business. This is the reality of life in business Folks.
Then again, who could ever expect Mike Dunn to act like a man and do the right thing?

Considering you show a Salisbury Zip Code, perhaps you should try attending a Council Meeting and or watch PAC 14 and you'd know what this was and or what happened, since you claim to live here?

Excellent points. However, you do not know all that I do for the City of Salisbury, trust me on that one. Although the DT would like to portray me as someone else, although my Blog is very aggressive, do you think I'd get as many hits per day if I was predictable and boring, like the Daily Times?
I will not expose here the many things I have done, am currently doing and what is planned for the future on this Blog because no one here needs to know these things.
However, there's a very good reason I am friends with so many people. Perhaps you might want to look into the archives of this Blog and see some of the many things I have done?
Look, things will be very different, (for the better) in the next few months for the City of Salisbury. You cannot argue that everything this Mayor and Council have done over the past few years could have easily lined their pockets with possibly millions of dollars. However, it has also cost the taxpayers multi millions of dollars at the expense of just a few.
Whenever someone comes along and exposes so many wrongs, they're simply not well received or liked. Mike Dunn comes along and tells the Newspaper he and his wife are not swingers. Well, guess what, I have evidence that suggests a completely different story. Mike knows I have this information and Mike knows it was going to be exposed and that's why Mike Dunn is NOT running again for Office.
Keep in mind, there are even higher up people who have heard this rumor and have probably asked Mike if there is "any" truth to it and if Mike lied, he knew I would have exposed the information I have. If he told the truth, they're going to drop him like a hot potato. One way or the other, the man doesn't belong in Public Office.
Now, do you hate me because I have this information? That's up to you. However, just remember who let the information out in the first place. Mike Dunn and his Wife did. Is it my responsibility to expose that information? Perhaps, but I chose not to do so for almost a year because I wanted to see if the man would be honorable and walk away quietly. Instead, Mike has challenged me to a point in which I will defend my stance with him.
I can also tell you that even the Daily Times has seen this evidence and "we" chose to not expose it to the public because we had hoped he would step down quietly and there was no reason to expose his personal life.
To this date I have yet to post any pictures and or documents and I still choose to leave them in a drawer. However, if Mike wants me to go to the next level I most certainly will.
Like me or not, I tell things the way I see things. Being a whistle blower is not an easy task. Getting attacked regularly is not easy but you act as if I'm the only one on the attack. Just look around at these other Blogs. I'm not complaining because sometimes I find them very humorous. However, leave my wife and family out of it. I have shown that respect for Mike Dunn, believe me I have.
Let's even try this one out for size. Remember Kip Grangier who fell three years ago at the Zoo and has been experiencing seizures ever since? Remember the Mayor assuring me she would get involved with a fund raiser for him? She has never once done a thing about it and she even assured me publicly that she would get back with me on the progress of such a fund raiser. This isn't news? Instead, they fired Kip and took away all his benefits.
There's plenty of reason to expose this City and if I'm on of the three Blog Sites out there doing it, my style will be different. Were you aware of the thousands of dollars I spent creating a Non Profit Status Company to raise funds for Kip?
Well, never mind. I do what I can, where I can, when "I" think it's right. Look into the archives and you might think differently about what you have just said. Then you might want to ask someone who knows me personally about who I am and what I do because your statements are very wrong.
I do appreciate your input and participation to this Blog. Watch how much I get attacked for being a nice guy here too.
WhatsUp21804, ya got some good comments, but I'll disagree with ya on one thing:
While people standin' up at meetin's might seem futile, the information these folks have brought t'light via PAC14, coverage in the paper (even if slight in reportin' their facts) and the coverage in the blogs has helped t'educate poor humble dogs like me.
And these folks do have lives outside the council meetin's, whereby they do some o' the stuff yer talkin' 'bout. Volunteerin' in their neighborhoods, raisin' money fer kids, helpin' out at their kids' schools.
So, don't write 'em off. They got guts t'stand up there and take the abuse in the hope that someone will hear the facts.
