Judicial Watch has made public 90 pages of heavily redacted U.S. Department of State documents showing Obama State Department officials’ efforts to disseminate classified information to multiple U.S. Senators immediately prior to President Donald Trump’s inauguration.
The information, which included raw intelligence, purported to show “malign” Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election. Among the senators receiving the classified documents were Sen. Mark Warner (D-VA), Sen. Ben Cardin (D-MD), and Sen. Robert Corker (R-TN).
We obtained the documents through our June 2018 Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit filed against the State Department after it failed to respond to a February 2018 request seeking records of the Obama State Department’s last-minute efforts to share classified information about Russia election interference issues with Democratic Senator Ben Cardin (Judicial Watch v. U.S. Department of State (No. 1:18-cv-01381)).
A January 13, 2017, email from Hera Abbasi, a former congressional advisor in the State Department’s Bureau of Legislative Affairs, suggests that the intelligence community was providing “raw intel” to Sen. Warner. Such an exchange almost certainly would have been coordinated by the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI): “Yes, that is correct. Warner/raw intel stuff is going thru IC channels.” (Abbasi previously worked in Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s office and was a 2017 Next Generation National Security Fellow at the liberal Center for a New American Security. Abbasi donated $725 to the Clinton campaign and Act Blue during the 2016 election cycle.)

Michael Flynn refuses to be 'paraded, harassed or disparaged' by Adam Schiff
The attorney for retired Army Gen. Michael Flynn is refusing to let the former national security adviser testify before Rep. Adam Schiff, saying the California Democrat disregards “ethics in your theatrical demand.”
Attorney Sidney Powell said Monday in a letter that Flynn is invoking his rights under the Fifth Amendment to avoid being “paraded, harassed or disparaged” by Democrats on the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence.
Mr. Schiff, who took committee control in January, has launched an investigation into nearly every aspect of President Trump’s life.
Mr. Schiff was a big proponent of the Democrat Party-financed dossier sourced to the Kremlin. The dossier’s charges of Trump election conspiracy proved unfounded.

A trillion dollars here. A trillion dollars there. The Democratic candidates have unveiled yet another unaffordable socialist scheme that would make you pay more in taxes. Bernie Sanders, who wants to transform the United States into a Marxist fantasy, is touting a new “Housing for All” plan that is projected to cost taxpayers $2.5 trillion. “In the richest country in the history of the world, every American must have a safe, decent, accessible, and affordable home as a fundamental right,” the lawmaker said in a statement, adding that voters “need a homes guarantee.”

At least 25 people were shot, five fatally, over the weekend in Democrat-controlled Chicago.
Before Sunday was over, NBC Chicago reported that 25 people had already been shot, three of them fatally.
They reported the first non-fatal shooting of the weekend occurred just after 2 p.m. Friday “in the 2400 block of West 73rd Street.” A suspect walked up to a 29-year-old man and opened fire, striking him in the ankle.
Others were shot while sitting in cars, standing in alleys, or simply walking on sidewalks.

Harris Announces Anti-Crime Grant to Salisbury
WASHINGTON, DC: Rep. Andy Harris, M.D. (MD-01) announced the award of a $24,347 federal grant to the City of Salisbury. The grant was awarded by the U.S. Department of Justice and the funds will be dispersed through the Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) Program.
The JAG program allows local governments to support a broad range of activities to prevent and control crime based on local needs. Satchel Smith, a 21-year-old student at Lamar University, arrived for work at the Homewood Suites in Beaumont at 3 p.m. on Sept. 18, but rising floodwaters soon buried the access road – as well as a section of the I-10 – leaving Smith’s co-workers with no way to get to work.
Smith, however, proved to be prepared to step up to the challenge, and proceeded to make the hotel’s stranded guests comfortable in any way he could.

Young Americans stressed about their financial health might take solace in one thing: They’re not alone.
According to new data released by Northwestern Mutual, a significant percentage of millennials and younger Americans are carrying large amounts of personal debt — and feel guilty about it. Millennials on average carry $27,800 in personal debt, most of it from credit cards, and members of Generation Z average about $14,000.
The high debt averages paint a troubling portrait of Americans carrying large amounts of debt at a young age — saddling young Americans with financial uncertainty unlike that of their parents and grandparents.
“There are lots of people who exit school, and before they start their first job, have debt,” Chantel Bonneau, a wealth management advisor, told Buzzfeed News. “That is a different situation from 30 years ago.”

Now, it looks as though another example of a residential solar panel horror story has surfaced. A woman in Louisville, Colorado is warning people about Solar City panels after hers caught fire on her roof while she wasn't home, according to Fox 31 Denver.
The homeowner, Briana Greer, was out of town in August when the fire started on her rooftop solar panels. Neighbors had to help put the fire out, but not before it damaged three solar panels and her roof, pictured above. She had been leasing the panels from SolarCity for about two years.

Police: Towson University resident student charged in alleged rape of another student
TOWSON, Md. —Baltimore County police said they have charged a 20-year-old male Towson University resident student in connection with the alleged rape of another student.
According to officials, Onyekackukwu Chukwuebuk Igwilo, 20, is charged with first-degree rape, attempted first-degree rape, false imprisonment and first- and second-degree assault.
Officials said the victim was assaulted around 3:30 p.m. Sunday in the 400 block of Towson Way. The victim told police she had gone to her friend’s apartment to watch a movie. Igwilo was also there, officials said.
The group was watching the movie in Igwilo's bedroom when he touched her and climbed on top of her, the victim said. Officials said the victim said, "No," but Igwilo put his hands on her throat. When she told him again to stop, Igwilo raped her and would not let her leave, officials said.

Muhammad was executed in 2009 for his crimes; Malvo was sentenced to six consecutive life sentences without parole in Maryland and four more in Virginia. Florida-based Coast Guard crew finds submarine carrying $165 million worth of cocaine
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. —A Florida-based United States Coast Guard crew busted a submarine that was carrying about 12,000 pounds of cocaine, officials said.
The Coast Guard Cutter Valiant crew intercepted the sub while on routine patrol in the eastern Pacific after it was initially spotted from the air.
Coast Guard crews boarded the sub when it was in international waters and said they found 12,000 pounds of cocaine that is worth more than $165 million. Four suspected drug smugglers were apprehended, officials said.
About 1,100 pounds of the cocaine were offloaded, but due to safety concerns the remainder was not.

Kemba Smith Pradia, pardoned by Clinton, is appointed to Virginia Parole Board
Kemba Smith Pradia, a Richmond native who served more than six years of a 24½-year federal prison sentence before she was pardoned by President Bill Clinton, was appointed to the Virginia Parole Board on Friday.
Prior to the appointment, Pradia was the state advocacy campaigns director with the ACLU of Virginia. Pradia, the author of “Poster Child: The Kemba Smith Story,” has been a national advocate for sentencing reform and a consultant on the criminal justice system for over 20 years.

Judicial Watch has announced that it obtained a two-page memo, dated May 16, 2017, by then-Acting FBI Director Andrew McCabe detailing how then-Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein proposed wearing a wire into the Oval Office “to collect additional evidence on the president’s true intentions.” McCabe writes that Rosenstein said he thought it was possible because “he was not searched when he entered the White House.”
The Justice Department turned over the document last Friday at 5:27 pm in a Judicial Watch February, 2019 Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit.
The memo, which is redacted in key sections, purports to serve as a “contemporaneous recollection” of a meeting that day (“12:30 pm on 5/16/2017”) in Rosenstein’s office. McCabe writes he began the meeting by telling Rosenstein that he “approved the opening of an investigation of President Donald Trump … to investigate allegations of possible collusion between the president and the Russian Government, possible obstruction of justice related to the firing of FBI Director James Comey, and possible conspiracy to obstruct justice.” In justifying his investigation, McCabe refers to the memos Comey secretly wrote on meetings he had with President Trump and an NBC interview with Lester Holt. McCabe writes he “informed DAG [Rosenstein] that as a result of his role in the matter, I thought he would be a witness to the case.”
Rosenstein responded by recounting his discussion with President Trump, then-Attorney General Sessions and then-White House Counsel Don McGahn about Comey’s imminent firing and that President Trump wanted him to write a “memo explaining the reason” for Comey’s firing.
McCabe writes:
"As our conversation continued the DAG proposed that he could potentially wear a recording device into the Oval Office to collect additional evidence on the President’s true intentions. He said he thought this might be possible because he was not searched when he entered the White House. I told him that I would discuss the opportunity with my investigative team and get back to him.
"We discussed the issue of appointing a Special Counsel to oversee the FBI’s Russia investigation. The DAG said he has two candidates ready, one of whom could start immediately."

Narrative: On 20 September 2019 at 1:07 PM, a deputy stopped a vehicle operated by Scott Willoughby after observing that Willoughby’s vehicle displayed a piece of cardboard with numbers on it representing a Delaware Temporary registration plate. During the encounter the deputy obtained consent to search the vehicle and located what was identified as crack cocaine.
The deputy placed Willoughby under arrest and transported him to the Central Booking Unit where he was processed and taken in front of the District Court Commissioner. Following an initial appearance, the Commissioner released Willoughby on Personal Recognizance.

Suspect: Anthony M. Sabato, 53, Millsboro, DE
Narrative: On 20 September 2019 at 4:30 PM, a deputy approached an individual later identified as Anthony Sabato, who was in a vehicle parked in the lot at the Salisbury Airport. Upon approach to Sabato, the deputy observed that the engine of Sabato’s vehicle was on and Sabato was sitting behind the wheel with his seat belt on, but Sabato was slumped over in his seat.
The deputy managed to rouse Sabato and detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from Sabato and observed that Sabato was unsteady and had trouble maintaining his balance. Sabato stated that he had planned to catch a flight at the airport. When asked if he would consent to sobriety testing, Sabato told the deputy there was no need for that and that he would consent to a breath test. The result of the breath test would show a blood alcohol level of .22.
The deputy also discovered that Sabato’s privilege to drive had been revoked by the State of Delaware due to a previous DUI.
Sabato was released pending a future court date. Sabato was unable to make his flight.

Congresswoman mocked for saying AR-15s are 'as heavy as' 10 moving boxes and fire .50 caliber bullets
Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee incorrectly claimed that AR-15 rifles fire .50 caliber ammunition and that the weapons are “as heavy as 10 boxes that you might be moving.”
The Texas Democrat, who is pushing for further gun control policies, made the statement to reporters, claiming that she has held an AR-15 but wished she had not.
"It is as heavy as 10 boxes that you might be moving,” Jackson Lee, 69, said. “And the bullet that is utilized, a .50 caliber, these kinds of bullets need to be licensed and do not need to be on the street.”

32 arrested in DC climate change demonstrations
WASHINGTON - Police say 32 activists have been arrested amidst the climate change protests dotting the District on Monday morning.
They say the activists who were arrested were at a New York Avenue demonstration.
The protests created traffic havoc throughout the morning as the activists shut down access to a number of areas, including Dupont Circle.
D.C. police are on the scene at Dupont Circle, and in other locations - that area has since been re-opened.

I would also like the money set aside for future construction/consideration of bike lanes (I was at the last council meeting and the council approved ANOTHER 3.3 million dollars to fund the bike lanes). I would like to know how much grant money (and where it came from) they used and the amount of city taxes was used to create these bike lanes. I would also want to know all contractors that have been used for this construction that received more than $3000 in pay for their services and all companies that were used to procure needed construction materials over $1000. I want this all line by line - year by year in spreadsheet form with totals. 2016-2019 (and future bid winners and for what amounts of money they are set to receive), please see the following information and attached documents. Answers will be provided in the order with which the questions occur in your request:

Poll: Marylanders Support More Ed Funding, But Know Little of Kirwan Commission
Marylanders are willing to pay more for public education, but are largely unaware of a reform effort that would dramatically boost state education spending, according to polling from Goucher College.
About 70 percent of Maryland adults say the state spends too little on public education – and 74 percent of those reached by the most recent Goucher Poll said they would be willing to personally spend more to improve schools.
But only about 22 percent of those polled said they were aware of the work of the Kirwan Commission on Innovation and Excellence in Education, which has rolled out a decade-long reform plan that could cost about $3.8 billion more each year once fully implemented. Gov. Lawrence J. Hogan Jr. (R) has expressed concerns about the cost of the plan, referring to a funding workgroup as the Kirwan Tax Hike Commission in public statements, though the panel’s role is not to change state tax rates.
