'Mr Mayor': Michael Cohen treated like 'celebrity' in prison

President Trump’s former fixer Michael Cohen is said to be thriving behind bars.

“People wish Michael Cohen is getting beaten up every day in prison — but he’s literally the mayor of the prison. He’s doing great: The other inmates call him ‘Mr Mayor,’” his attorney David Schwartz told the New York Post. “He’s a celebrity in the jail. Everybody is coming up and shaking his hand. He’s enjoying hanging out with the other inmates,” he said.

Schwartz said Cohen, 53, has a job fixing fire hydrants at the Federal Correctional Institution in Otisville, located about 70 miles outside of New York City. The prison’s satellite camp, where Cohen is incarcerated, has about 120 inmates who live in dormitories with personal cubicles that have a bed, nightstand, and desk.

One of the worst thing is to be famous in prison and I don’t think anyone cares what’s happening to him.

Check out our local jail, the inmates there thrive! They all come out fatter and richer selling stuff and eating 3 meals a day, snacks, and free medical, dental and prescriptions.
