Unbelievable video captured by a New York business owner’s surveillance cameras appear to show an undercover police informant (not a police officer) planting and photographing crack cocaine, which ultimately led to the man’s arrest.

Scotia and Schenectady County Police reportedly became suspicious of Donald Andrews, Jr., who owns a smoke shop on Mohawk Avenue in Scotia, N.Y., and decided to send the undercover informant to gather some information. He was sent to Andrews’ place of business twice, according to WNYT-TV.

It was during the informant’s second trip to the smoke shop that he was caught on camera planting and photographing what appears to be cocaine.

Feds Tell Web Firms To Turn Over User Account Passwords

Secret demands mark escalation in Internet surveillance by the federal government through gaining access to user passwords, which are typically stored in encrypted form.

The U.S. government has demanded that major Internet companies divulge users' stored passwords, according to two industry sources familiar with these orders, which represent an escalation in surveillance techniques that has not previously been disclosed.

If the government is able to determine a person's password, which is typically stored in encrypted form, the credential could be used to log in to an account to peruse confidential correspondence or even impersonate the user. Obtaining it also would aid in deciphering encrypted devices in situations where passwords are reused.

"I've certainly seen them ask for passwords," said one Internet industry source who spoke on condition of anonymity. "We push back."

A second person who has worked at a large Silicon Valley company confirmed that it received legal requests from the federal government for stored passwords. Companies "really heavily scrutinize" these requests, the person said. "There's a lot of 'over my dead body.'"

Some of the government orders demand not only a user's password but also the encryption algorithm and the so-called salt, according to a person familiar with the requests. A salt is a random string of letters or numbers used to make it more difficult to reverse the encryption process and determine the original password. Other orders demand the secret question codes often associated with user accounts.

Trooper William C. Keller died on Friday, January 22nd, 1971, as the result of a fatal motor vehicle crash. The collision occurred on US 13 at Tybouts Corner, just east of Bear. Trooper Keller, a member of the Delaware State Police drug unit, had been en route to Dover at the time. A Navy veteran, he joined the State Police in January of 1969, the fulfillment of his life-long dream. He resided in Dover with his loving wife and their one-month-old daughter. He was also survived by his parents and two brothers. Trooper Keller was just 23 years old when his watch was suddenly and tragically ended.

Archaeologists Uncover English Ship Remains in Md.

ST. MARY'S CITY, Md. (AP) -- Archaeologists working with Maryland's Historic St. Mary's City museum believe they have discovered the remains of an English ship 10 feet below the St. Mary's River.

The museum announced Thursday that archaeologist Scott Tucker and a crew of volunteer divers found the remains this summer. They discovered a heavy load of rounded cobble stones in an oval-shaped area more than 50 feet long.

Tucker says the stones are unique and not typical of Maryland. They would have been used as ballast to provide weight and stability to the ship. Tucker says the stones may have come from the North Devon coast of England.

Unemployment Aid Applications Rise 7K To 343K

WASHINGTON — The number of Americans applying for unemployment benefits rose by 7,000 last week to a seasonally adjusted 343,000.

The increase in the week ending July 20 follows a drop of 22,000 the previous week. But the broader trend is consistent with an improving job market.

The four-week average, which smooths out weekly fluctuations, fell 1,250 to 345,250, according to the Labor Department.

“Claims continue to signal no let-up in employment growth,” Jim O’Sullivan, chief U.S. economist at High Frequency Economics, wrote in a research note.

'SCANDAL GREATER THAN BENGHAZI': Congress To Probe Crash That Killed SEAL Team 6 Members...

(THE HILL) -- Congress has launched an investigation of the helicopter crash that killed 30 Americans in Afghanistan, including members of the Navy’s elite SEAL Team 6 unit, The Hill has learned.

The victims’ families say the Pentagon hasn’t provided answers to their many questions about the deadly attack, which took place on Aug. 6, 2011, three months after Osama bin Laden was killed in Pakistan by Team 6 forces.

Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-Utah), chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform subcommittee on National Security, told The Hill, “We’re going to dive into this.”

Chaffetz said he met with the victims’ families about a month ago in what he described as an “emotional” gathering. He is poised to send questions to the Pentagon and may hold hearings on the matter.

Charlie Strange, whose son Michael was among those killed, said he asked President Obama two years ago at Dover Air Force Base to fully investigate. The death toll in the crash was the largest of any single incident for the U.S. military during the Afghanistan war.

Obama praised Michael’s service to Strange, who responded, “I don’t need to know about my son. I need to know what happened to my son.”

Starting High School Later May Help Sleepy Teens

Quinn Cooney of Mill Creek, Wash., is excited about starting high school in September, but she's not looking forward to waking up at 5:30 a.m. to arrive on time. Classes for ninth-graders start at 7:30 a.m., 45 minutes earlier than they did in middle school.

"I think it is going to be harder to get up," said Quinn, 13. "I do think it is better to start early so that we can be finished early and do things after school, but I am worried that if I have a boring class for my first period that it will be hard to stay awake."

Decades of sleep research have confirmed what parents know: It's hard for teenagers to wake up early. Some high schools have adopted late starts around 8:30 a.m. to improve attendance and performance. But other districts say it's too complicated to shift schedules because of logistics involving buses and after-school activities.

If Hollywood plans a movie featuring black waiters in a plantation scene or portray women as prostitutes or cast minorities in caricature roles does the media get upset and start calling the movie moguls racists?

Is there any grown person who could truthfully declare under oath that they have never uttered something that someone might find personally offensive?

Do the twenty-year-old words of a lady with a television cooking show trump the lie an Attorney General told Congress, or officials at the IRS usurping the rights of the American public and pleading the fifth amendment when confronted about it or the hiding of the facts surrounding the murder of four Americans at a Consulate in Libya or the incredibly shabby image of a president taking a one hundred million dollar vacation in this economy while closing down tours of the White House or the NSA invasion on the privacy of millions of unsuspecting citizens?

I think not, and yet these and other stories of the utmost importance were either ignored or given a back seat to the Paula Deenstory which, when taken in context with the high level scandals, Putin's snubbing of an American president, the potentially explosive situations in so much of the world the story was certainly not newsworthy enough to be featured five nights in a row on network news.

Wouldn't a week-long investigation into the life of Lois Lerner, the things she's done and the reason she's pleading the fifth be more meaningful to the American people?

What about what's going on in Israel? The media has been strangely quiet on that front lately, is there nothing worth reporting in that volatile part of the world?

How about the coming catastrophic tidal wave the effect of Obamacare is going to have on America, is there nothing worth questioning in the over 30,000 pages of regulations?

How about the fact that due to federal over regulation it's nearly impossible to live in the U.S. without breaking some law?

How about the Christian pastor who is being held in one of the worst hell hole prisons in the world in Iran for nothing more than sharing his faith?

How about a whole way of life that's being destroyed in West Virginia by the president's war on coal?

I think you get the picture.

No wonder the mainstream media has fallen so far in the trust of the American people.

Why is the Paula Deenstory worth so much airtime if not to take attention off the truly important issue, the life changing things that really affect the lives of Americans?

Pharmaceutical Company Launches Major Expansion

SALISBURY -- Shovels officially met ground last Friday as Jubilant Cadista Pharmaceuticals (JCP) Inc. broke ground on a new expansion to their Salisbury facility that will more than double its size and add 200 to 300 new jobs within the next five years.

JCP has continued to grow steadily in Salisbury since 2005 when Jubilant Life Sciences Limited acquired control of the company.

“When our parent company, Jubilant Life Sciences Limited, acquired a majority stake in this company eight years ago, there were about 30 people working here,” said Scott Delaney, CEO of Jubilant Cadista. “Today, nearly 300 employees help to produce 14 product families at this facility. The site expansion will allow us to grow and accommodate our plans of doubling the number of products over the next two years. During the next several years, the addition of these and possibly more products currently in the pipeline will open opportunities for the addition of up to 200 or more jobs.”

A loophole in federal law has made veterans the target of intense--and sometimes exploitative--recruitment efforts by for-profit colleges, officials and advocates said during a July 23 Senate hearing.

For-profit colleges can receive a maximum of 90 percent of their revenue from federal student aid, but technically that limit only applies to funds administered by the Education Department. Other funds, such as military and veterans benefits, can make up the other 10 percent.

Colleges that can't recruit enough students without federal aid may turn to veterans to ensure that Education Department funds comprise less than 90 percent of their revenue.

"Every veteran that a for-profit school recruits is worth nine more students using federal financial aid," Tom Tarantino, chief policy officer for Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America, told the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee.

Holly Petraeus, who heads the Office of Servicemember Affairs at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, said that "this has given some for-profit colleges an incentive to see servicemembers as nothing more than dollar signs in uniform."

She recounted a few examples of unscrupulous practices, including the recruitment of veterans whose mental health issues made them vulnerable to aggressive tactics and a military spouse who was given the false impression that the college where she ended up enrolling was "military-affiliated."

In December, the Veterans Affairs Department registered the term "GI Bill" as a trademark in order to prevent deceptive marketing and recruitment.

Sen. Tom Carper (D-Del.), the committee chairman, said the problems with the loophole go beyond recruitment techniques.

"The idea that any college or university--I don't care if they're private, public, for-profit--that gets 100 percent of its revenues from the federal government for me is troubling," he said.

Steven Gunderson, the CEO of the Association of Private Sector Colleges and Universities, cautioned that if the loophole is eliminated, for-profit colleges will have to enroll students who can attend without federal aid at the expense of low-income students.

Four men are behind bars for their involvement in a theft ring that targeted parked vehicles at day cares and gyms from Virginia to Missouri, according to authorities.

Police say they arrested Leonard Wright, 23; Chadrick Owens, 22; Kenneth Hall, 24; and Gerald Lee, 29. They're all facing rogue and vagabond, conspiracy and theft charges. The men are from Florida.
According to authorities, on Tuesday around 8:15 a.m., officers from the Western District responded to the Kindercare located in the 3500 block of Russett Common in Laurel for report of a theft from auto that just occurred.

The KIA rate for deployed soldiers per year in Iraq and Afghanistan has actually been lower than the overall death rate of average US citizens in America, but they don't teach math very well in US schools.

About 3000 New Yorkers were killed in 2001 by the freak success of a primitive terrorist group. Oh no, they'll kill us all!!! Well, in fact, over 10,000 Americans die every single day... 15,000 are killed every year by other Americans... 20,000 by staph in their local hospital, and hundreds of thousands by their own bad eating habits. You could completely ignore every terrorist on Earth and they'd have a hard time adding significantly to that. Ignoring them is the intelligent response anyhow, because it deprives them of their goal which is attention. But people would rather be scared than intelligent. So all they think about is, oh no, the terrorists are gonna get us, and they allow the government to send its all-professional, no conscript military on an eternal mission to fight the terrorists. The American military is made up of the most authority-obeying, government-loving, compliant geeks in the country, so they readily believe that they're on an important mission to protect their countrymen from the one in a million chance that a terrorist might kill them.

Now, many of us Americans know better than that, but we're supposed to join team A over team B in a state of war, otherwise the soldiers' feelings will be hurt. And they'll say things like, we're fighting for you, we're doing what you don't have the balls to do, it's because of us that you have freedom, commie, pinko, ******, etc. etc.. The hostility over not kissing the troops' asses is so extreme and heavy that few people dare to do it. The US military fights for the president, not the people. They usually believe the people actually choose the president, but ignorance is no excuse. Their oath to the military was voluntary, so they're still responsible for what the president orders them to do. Being soldiers doesn't excuse them from being judged as men.

ANNAPOLIS, MD - At the Maritime Institute in Linthicum, Maryland, Governor Martin O’Malley unveiled his plan to address the effects of climate change in Maryland. The Greenhouse Gas Reduction Plan encompasses more than 150 programs and initiatives that will result in an estimated $1.6 billion in economic benefits, support more than 37,000 jobs, and positively impact public health, the Chesapeake Bay, and promote renewable energy. The plan aims to reduce greenhouse gases 25 percent by 2020.

“Governor O’Malley has laid out a pragmatic and innovative approach to combating the effects of climate change in Maryland,” said Yvette Lewis, Chairwoman of the Maryland Democratic Party. “This plan directly addresses the main drivers of greenhouse gas emissions in our state while continuing to stimulate economic growth and create jobs. O'Malley Releases Greenhouse Gas Reduction Plan

Maryland would get more energy from renewable sources and do more recycling under a long-term plan aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions that Gov. Martin O'Malley released Thursday.

O'Malley, a Democrat, outlined the plans at a summit on climate change with scientists, business leaders and environmental advocates.

"As severe weather events continue to grow in size and impact, and elongated trends of poor air quality continue, the costs of inaction would grow exponentially," the governor said in a written statement outlining the plan. "In Maryland, we are moving forward and taking action by creating green jobs and protecting our land, water, air and public health."

Trayvon Martin’s mother, Sybrina Fulton, is scheduled to speak Friday at the National Urban League conference in Philadelphia, the same venue at which U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder appeared Thursday.

The conference takes place each year but is expected to be flooded with press this time as racial tensions remain high in the wake of the acquittal of George Zimmerman in the shooting death of Martin, a black teen.

The century-old civil rights organization, which advocates on behalf of blacks against racial discrimination, has dubbed this year’s conference “Redeem the Dream: Jobs Rebuild America.” The Associated Press said about 6,000 will attend. But the most publicized speakers will have little to say about jobs.

Vandal Defaces Lincoln Memorial With Green Paint

WASHINGTON — The US Park Police in Washington say the Lincoln Memorial has been temporarily closed after someone splattered a splash of green paint on the statue.

Police say the apparent vandalism was discovered around 1:30 a.m. Friday on the statue, the pedestal and the floor. No words, letters or symbols were visible in the paint.

Capt. Steven Booker says the paint spill "appears intentional based off of the splatter." He says police are reviewing security camera footage to try to identify possible suspects.

College Republicans Denied Admittance To Obama Speech

President Obama was bound to receive a warm response from the audience attending his speech at the University of Central Missouri yesterday — because some students who disagreed with him weren’t allowed into the building.

Christopher White of The College Fix reports that students wearing “Tea Party T-Shirts and others who wore patriotic or Republican-inspired clothing” were turned away at the door under the guise of security concerns, despite the fact that they held tickets to the event.

I’d like to offer a helpful tip to all College Republicans who hope to attend an Obama speech in the future: Odds of admission improve if you wear a Che Guevara t-shirt, an “I Heart Kim Jong Un” campaign button, and/or a ballcap displaying the slogan “Obama Girl” prominently above the brim.

Summer Beach Pumping In Delaware Raises Questions

FENWICK ISLAND -- Amid questions about the timing at the height of the summer season, a vast beach replenishment project is expected to get underway any day now in Fenwick Island.

The Army Corps of Engineers this week began the staging process for a federally-funded emergency beach replenishment project in Fenwick Island, the first stop in what will be a months-long restoration process for the beaches along the Delaware coast. During the project, roughly 389,000 cubic yards of sand will be pumped onto the beach in Fenwick from offshore borrow sources and spread over about 6,500 feet of shoreline. The intent is to restore the beach and protective dune line ravaged during Hurricane Sandy last October and other winter and early spring storms to their pre-storm conditions.

While few question the intent of the project, concerns have been raised about its timing at the height of the summer season. The contractor, Great Lakes Dredge and Dock, began the staging process for the project on Wednesday with a huge pipe extending from the dredging equipment offshore onto the beach at Atlantic Ave. Also on the beach on Wednesday was the tall tri-pod-like piece of equipment that has become familiar to local residents and visitors during recent beach replenishment projects.

AKC-Registered Breeders Raising Dogs In 'Miserable' Conditions

New accusations that one of the country's largest organizations dedicated to dogs, the American Kennel Club, isn't doing enough to protect animals. TODAY National Investigative Correspondent Jeff Rossen reports.

When you go to buy a puppy, you want it to be happy, healthy and well-treated. A lot of people count on the American Kennel Club to find a breeder. When you see that AKC seal, you think to yourself: "I'm getting a good dog." But we've discovered disgusting conditions and sick dogs at AKC-registered operations.

The Westminster Dog Show is the epitome of canine perfection, and the American Kennel Club is proud to oversee it, calling itself "the dog's champion," registering puppies with official papers and inspecting breeders "to ensure proper care and conditions." Many dog owners count on it, looking for that seal before purchasing a puppy.

But critics say there's an ugly reality you don't see: Some AKC breeders raising diseased dogs, malnourished, living in their own filth. It's so disturbing that now two of the country's largest animal welfare groups, the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals and the Humane Society, are condemning the AKC.

OC Police Defends Beach Melee Handling

OCEAN CITY -- Despite conflicting reports about the melee on the beach at N. Division Street last Sunday afternoon that resulted in three men being arrested on assault charges and a pregnant woman being wrestled to the ground, Ocean City police officials this week are standing by the actions of the officers involved.

Around 2:30 p.m. last Sunday, Ocean City Police responded to a reported group of disorderly males. The request for assistance came from an Ocean City Beach Patrol lifeguard, who told police he approached the group to speak with them, at which time he was threatened.

When OCPD officers attempted to speak with the suspect, identified as Abdul Kargbo, 25, of Woodbridge, Va., he began cursing and yelling at the officers and attempted to leave the scene. As officers attempted to arrest Kargbo, several other members in the disorderly group began to yell at police and act in a threatening manner, according to police reports.

Whether it is filing and paying taxes to both a foreign government and the US government, the reporting of foreign financial assets (FBAR and Form 8938), or saddling foreign financial institutions with extra compliance costs for dealing with US citizens (FATCA), among others, the root cause of these burdens is a system of citizenship-based taxation (CBT).

The US is the only developed country in the world that enforces CBT.

AL SHARPTON AND PANEL ACCUSE ‘RIGHT-WING PUNDITS’ OF STOKING RACIAL FEARS FOR RATINGS: BECK, O’REILLY, LIMBAUGH SPECIALIZE IN ‘WHITE GRIEVANCE’

On “Politics Nation” Wednesday, MSNBC host Al Sharpton and his panel agreed that “right-wing pundits” like Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh and Bill O’Reilly are stoking racial fears to boost their ratings. Some might call this accusation ironic as many argue that Sharpton has built an entire career by doing that exact thing.

MSNBC contributor Joy Reid asserted that successful conservative personalities, including the ones previously mentioned, have carved out a special niche in talk radio by actively promoting “white grievance” to their old, white audiences.

“All of these people are destroying what they see as their America, and that siege bunker mentality is great for ratings because it keeps people on edge, angry, and feeling like they need to hear from their guru every day. So it’s all done for ratings, but it doesn’t deal with real problems,” Reid said.

PROFILING

Police Capt. Louis Renault, played by Claude Rains in the 1942 movie “Casablanca,” in the wake of the shooting of a Nazi officer, ordered his men to “round up the usual suspects.” Was Renault engaging in some sort of profiling? He may have been, but what is profiling? Let’s look at it.

We can think of profiling as a method to economize on information costs by using easily observed physical characteristics as a proxy or a guess for some other characteristic more difficult or costlier to observe. For example, say you seek to hire people to manually unload trucks containing heavy merchandise. I’m guessing that most would use sex as a proxy for strength and select men over the women. That can be called sex profiling. Of course, if you assumed that men and women have equal strength, you’d hire randomly.

You might say, “Profiling is unfair, and individuals should be judged individually!” Taken to the limit, such a position is ludicrous. Suppose police are trying to catch the criminal who just raped a woman in a city park. Would you want them to use sex profiling — i.e., just round up men — or should they round up everyone, regardless of sex? I’m betting that most people would view the latter as stupid. But there is a near equivalent in government. Ninety-six percent of the FBI’s list of most wanted terrorists are Muslim, and most terrorist attacks in the U.S. have been committed by young Muslim males. Despite this, the Transportation Security Administration people behave as if each person who seeks to board a plane is of equal danger. That’s why they search, frighten and inconvenience 5-year-olds and elderly people.

Homeschoolers Plead For Help Fighting 'Anti-Parent' Law

A government proposal that is being described as “anti-parent” is threatening to overwhelm a small team of parents in Scotland who are dedicated to fighting the “Children and Young People Bill,” and they are asking for help from fellow homeschoolers worldwide.

According to a report from the Home School Legal Defense Association, the bill “would assign a government social worker to ‘promote, support or safeguard the wellbeing’ of every child from birth.”

That “named person” would have great authority to order what the child – and parents – must do throughout life, regarding schooling, health, social activities and the like.

It’s part of an initiative that calls for “Getting it Right for Every Child.”

• 30 year old male
• 22 year old female

 

Suspect:

 

• Black male, large build.  Last seen wearing a hooded sweatshirt and mask covering his face (no further physical or clothing description available).  Armed with an unknown type of handgun.
• Black male, average build.  Last seen wearing a hoodie and mask covering his face. (no further physical or clothing description available).  Armed with a black "slap stapler."
• Black male, average build.  Last seen wearing a tan shirt, tan camouflage cargo shorts, and a Panama Jack type hat with chin strap (no further physical or clothing description available).  Armed with a dark colored wooden object.

 

Resume:

Selbyville, DE- The Delaware State Police are investigating a home invasion style robbery that occurred early this morning near Selbyville.

 

The incident occurred around 12:50 a.m. as three suspects entered the residence located in the 30000 block of Rooster Road.  The 30 year old male victim and his 22 year old female girlfriend were in the living room as the trio broke into the home.  One of the suspects, armed with an unknown type handgun demanded money from the two and at one point a physical altercation ensued between the male victim and the larger of the three suspects.  At that point, a suspect armed with a slap stapler struck the male victim in the head before the victim could free himself and escaped through a back door and to a neighbor's house where he called 9-1-1.  The female victim attempted to intervene in the fight and was also struck in the head with the slap stapler.  All three suspect then fled the residence but not before one of them grabbed the female victim's purse containing an undisclosed amount of cash.  Both victims were transported by EMS to Beebe Medical Center where they were treated and released with non-life-threatening injuries.

 

Troopers have determined through preliminary interviews and investigation that this was not a random act, and the victims may have been targeted in the home invasion.

Board Delays Action On Kent Island Housing Project

The Board of Public Works has postponed a decision on whether to grant permits for a Kent Island housing development in an environmentally sensitive area near the Chesapeake Bay.

Governor Martin O'Malley said Wednesday he believes the board needs greater assurance that a proposed 131-acre park in the proposal will not be developed in the future.

It's the second time the proposed Four Seasons at Kent Island has come before the board.

In 2007, the board rejected the proposal due to environmental concerns.

Or, in the case of banks, they create money out of thin air and lend it out – at interest of course.

Dying Father's First Dance with Daughter Filmed for Future Wedding

On a sunny Saturday in July, Rachel Wolf was preparing for the day she always dreamed of, complete with wedding gown, makeup, and guests.

But there was one thing missing: a groom.

Instead, the day was about her dad. Rachel's father, Dr. James Wolf, is dying of pancreatic cancer. He likely has less than three months to live.

So to make sure that he would be there on her wedding day, Rachel, 25, came up with an unusual idea: she would create and record her own father/daughter dance. The venue, Auburn Recreation Park in Auburn, Calif., the limo and the D.J. were all donated.

"I just was flabbergasted," Dr. Wolf told TODAY in an interview that aired Monday.

North Carolina Lawmakers Pass Sweeping New Gun Laws

The Republican-backed bill approved by both the House and Senate on Tuesday allows concealed-carry permit holders to take firearms into bars and restaurants and other places where alcohol is served as long as the owner doesn’t expressly forbid it.

The measure will also allow concealed-carry permit holders to store weapons in locked cars on the campus of any public school or university. Guns will also now be allowed on greenways, playgrounds and other public recreation areas.

The final bill dropped a controversial provision that would have repealed the long-standing law requiring a background check and permit issued by county sheriffs for handgun purchases.

The measure now heads to Republican Gov. Pat McCrory’s desk.

If We Are Subservient To Government

When Edward Snowden revealed that the federal government, in direct defiance of the Fourth Amendment to the Constitution, was unlawfully and unconstitutionally spying on all Americans who use telephones, text messaging or emails to communicate with other persons, he opened a Pandora’s box of allegations and recriminations. The allegations he unleashed are that Americans have a government that assaults our personal freedoms, operates in secrecy and violates the Constitution and the values upon which it is based. The recriminations are that safety is a greater good than liberty, and Snowden interfered with the ability of the government to keep us safe by exposing its secrets, and so he should be silenced and punished.

In the course of this debate, you have heard the argument that we all need to sacrifice some liberty in order to assure our safety, that liberty and safety are in equipoise, and when they clash, it is the government that should balance one against the other and decide which shall prevail. This is, of course, an argument the government loves, as it presupposes that the government has the moral, legal and constitutional power to make this satanic bargain.

It doesn’t.

Massachusetts Couple May Face Fine For Helping Injured Baby Seal

A Massachusetts couple who tried to help an injured baby seal at an area beach may face a $5,000 fine for rushing to the aid of the stranded mammal.

MyFoxBoston.com reports that Mark Hodgdon and his fiancee were scuba diving at a Marshfield beach when they came across the baby seal covered in bite marks.

"There was a whole row of marks going across his belly up on his side," Hodgdon told the station. "You could just tell his whole body was in the shark. It had to have been."

Gansler Proposes New Inspector General To Take ‘Back Room’ Out Of State Spending

Attorney General Doug Gansler said the chilly cellar at the back of Harry Browne’s restaurant across the street from the State House epitomizes the kind of “back room” dealing his six proposals for greater transparency in government would try to eliminate. (The restaurant’s cozy second floor bar is actually the more common venue for deal-making, but no matter.)

The meeting was the third in “Build Our Best Maryland” series that Gansler is holding around the state to discuss policy issues as he prepares to announce his race for governor in the fall. Publishers Notes: It never ceases to amaze me just ridiculous the leadership/followers are in that Department. First of all, 99% of you DON'T live in the City and DON'T pay taxes.

You suggest I publish only "positiveness" and say I'm so "negative". First of all, it is, (and always has been) my job to expose EVERYTHING to the public. I started this Blog because your local media reuses to actually tell the TRUTH.

Think about it like this. Wouldn't it be GREAT if the Daily Times were to actually take the time to look at all the calls for service each year versus the overall yearly expense and let the taxpayers and their subscribers know what each call is costing the taxpayer.

Instead, what you would get from them would include all the ambulance calls and not the true figures. Making your staff sign a contract to stay off Salisbury News and not comment just means they know they're afraid the honorable Firefighters might actually tell the truth.

You also say I am "bashing" the Firefighters, their Families and Friends. Let me start off by tell you, I have many friends in the Fire Department. Some agree with me and some do not. We don't get into yelling matches and hate each other. At the end of the day we agree to disagree. Just because I, (and many of our readers) have an opposite opinion doesn't mean I/we are bashing anyone. YOU are simply afraid, no, scared to death, that we're gong to expose enough information that the taxpayers might they are wasting millions of dollars each year for a service that isn't necessary.
