Virginia Beach Delegate Glenn Davis announces bid for Virginia lieutenant governor

Delegate Glenn Davis announced Thursday that he intends to run for lieutenant governor of Virginia.

Prior to joining the House of Delegates, Glenn's website says he was twice elected to the Virginia Beach City Council in 2008 and 2012.

He won the Operation Homefront’s Cornerstone Award in 2018 for outstanding service assisting America’s military families. He also currently lives in Virginia Beach with his wife.

"I am excited to announce that I am seeking the GOP nomination for Lt. Gov. next year. After seeing our struggles in Richmond firsthand, it is more vital than ever to have strong, common sense leadership guiding the Commonwealth toward serious solutions."
